Serena was born on the sea being raised in the ocean she became intrigued by singing, reading, writing, and exploring. Serena is afraid of pirates they are evil to her. Her father insisted that she was trained on combat with a knife at the least to help her stay safe. Her father was killed by Pirates when they were forced on an island to find a treasure. Serena memorized the paths remember everything that has happened on them. Reminding her that they almost died on the island just to find the treasure. Serena was able to get back to England her Aunt and Uncle raising her but she still has vivid memories. She was only eight when she was with her father on the island. Her uncle is well known as a ship captain and A council member of the town she lives in. Serena is known well by her uncles name but doesn't believe what everyone says. She was named almost after a siren because of the sea.

Hunter seems to be a weak boy on a pirate ship but he's captain even at a young age he took over his father's ship after he lost his father. He acts as just a crews man he doesn't like anyone that assumes he's not a strong kid that can work on the seas. When he sees another ship and captain he let's his first mate seem like captain but he really works hard into making people surprised that he's a captain and everyone else is a crew member. He is very protective and somewhat greed for gold. But not as much as every other pirate is. He's just really strong at protecting someone he loves.

He knows how to liven up things up aboard the ship with his humor and sarcasm. It’s not exactly unheard of that he’s fairly good looking, and he doesn’t deny that he is, but he doesn’t deny that he isn’t. He’s very charismatic as well, and easily a sly talker. History: Erika was born to a broken family. Her mother died when Erika was 10 leaving her alone with an abusive, drunken father. Erika learned to protect herself at a young age and she ran away. She was found at an orphanage door and taken in. She lived there most her life- then she heard if a ship that was sailing away, so she stowed away and was taught how to sail by a kind sailer that found her. Since then she has lived her life in the sea.

Erika looked over the calm sea. The ocean breeze blew her hair around her face, and ruffled her loose clothes. She turned to head back inside the ship when she looked out at the water on the opposite side. A dark thundercloud had come up, and was approaching quickly. "Storm! Captain? There is a storm coming!" She called out I the sailers that were around her in the deck as well. She ran down the ship and climbed down the stairs to where the captain was sleeping.

Serena was packing up the decks of the ship it was an expedition they were going on she was in charge of the map. They all go to the ship and left on avoiding parts of the storm watching out for any ships needing help. She didn't want to abandon them no of the crew or captain did. She held the map in her possession she would hide it from invaders. ((Should they get curious if the map after the rescue and try to get it. So the girls will be enemies at first and then good friends?))

((Why would Erika want the map though? Just because she heard that it led to treasure?))

The captain heard and soon the whole crew was tying up te sails and hunkering down the cargo so it would be safe. Erika stayed above and toyed a rope from her waist to the bottom of a mast. She held her knife in her hand. She always did this when a storm came, if the ship were to sink she could just gut the rope, and if it were tossed around the rope would hold her in place.

((She could think they stole it and she thinks that Lovelle caused terrible memories for Erika? or they could just be invaders that also want the treasure but Lovelle won't give up the map))

Lovelle followed them she helped some of the crew mates. She looked around. "God pray for us there are no invaders or pirates." She begged hoping that they won't get hurt at all. She didn't want them to get hurt at all not at all.

Soon the storm was opon the ship and tossing it everywhere.

Erika's rope broke as the ship splintered and set everyone Into the water.

Lovelle's ship saw and started to go over to them. Lovelle hid the map with her she looked around watching them everything was so strange to her really strange. "Hurry before it sinks!"

Erika waved her arms about in the water, several crew members were calling out and saving with her. "Over here! Help!" They called. Their ship was sinking lower and lower into the water.

"Let's go!" Lovelle yelled again. He dived into the water with three other sailers to get survivors. She tried to help the girl into their ship.

Soon most most of the crew had been rescued and given a spare change of clothes. Erika was on the deck again mourning the loss of her ship. The clothes she wore were a bit too tight, the white puffy shirt was loose and the black jacket/corset nearly squeezed the ridership. But the black pants fit just right. She looked over the waters sadly and put her chin in her hands.

Lovelle went on deck talking to her captain still tucking and putting away the Map. She went over to one of the shipmates and bandaged his arm to help him out.

A sailor of the new boat came over and stood by her.

"so... whats your name?" asked the sailor

"My name is Erika..." She replied, not looking at him.

Lovelle helped the injured making sure they were okay and that the map was safe. She examined the seas. They would change course so they don't get caught in the storm.

The injured were soon cared for, and all were dry. Erika was given a room with another girl, who seemed nice enough- though awfully secretive.

"so whats your name?" she asked sitting down on her bed.

Serena sat down folding her clothes that were pretty much ruined. She looked up at Erika. "My name is Serena." She said to her. Her name was well known she just hoped Erika won't recognize it.

"What a lovely name. Im Erika Thordis, in case you hadn't heard." she said happily lounging on the bed. "Thanks for saving us... I was so worried that the crew would drown." she added a bit quieter.

"Thank you and it's nice to meet you Erika." She said to her. "It's no problem I didn't want to see any lives lost during that storm." She said to her. She put the map away locking it up.

"I agree." nodded Erika. Then she sat up curiously. "whats that?" she asked innocently pointing to where the random piece of parchment was stored.

"Just old letters." Serena explained she didn't want to deal with drama from her. Especially about the destination.

"Oh, cool." she shrugged. "not meaning to pry, but if they are just old letters than why lock them up?" she asked looking down at her feet awkwardly.

"Because I don't feel comfortable leaving them out to be in the wide open and be read." She explained. She undid her hair.

"Oh, ok." Erika shrugged and leaned back again.

Serena looked up. "Time for dinner." Her friend and sailor said. "thank you." Serena got up putting a shawl on going to where dinner would be.

"thanks!" erika said happily. When Serena shut the door Erika stayed behind and put on her shoes. Her eyes drifted to where Serena had left the paper.... should she look? the temptation was too strong.


Serena walked quietly over and opened the door. she grabbed the papers and saw that Serena had lied. They wern't letters- it was a map!

Serena went to go to dinner and talked to a friend that was a sailor. "It's locked up no one can get it." She hoped nothing will happen to the map. "we can't let the rescued crew find it. you know what would happen?" The captain asked. "Yes I know just be quiet." she said to them.

Erika frowned as she looked at the map. She decided to trac it out quickly and keep a copy for herself.

Serena realized she didn't bring the extra clothes that were ruined to throw out. "I'll be right back." She went back to the cabin she would need them. She looked up at her. "What are you doing?"

"I, I was looking for a shawl- so I wouldn't be cold when I went outside... And I came across..... How did you get this map?" She asked simply. There was no point in lying. Her traced copy was underneath the map, so she rolled it up very slowly and tucked it into her pants. Serena didn't even notice- so that was good.

"I've had that since I was a kid." She said to her. She gave her a shawl so she could use it. She wanted to know why she had her map.

"That's cool." Erika said awkwardly. She took the shawl and draped it around her shoulders as she set the map down on a desk- acting like it didn't matter.

She took it and put it away. She hated it when she felt like it was going to be stolen. Any pirates that come will take it in a heartbeat.

"So, umm. Dinner?" She asked awkwardly stepping towed he door.

"I'll be there soon." She said to her she locked up the map and washed her face first before going with her out to dinner.

They sat down at the table wth everyone already eating. Not much good was left, since most if the boys had scarfed it down.

Serena sat down and started to eat. She ate a saved food her friend saved her.

Supprisingly, Erika ate till she was full. Soon everyone was done eating, and cranky from lack of sleep.

Orders were sent out for them all to get some rest. Lovelle got up and went to talk to her captain before going to bed she was so tired.

Erika went streight to the cabin and viewed her sketch. He added a few things and tucked it away in a hidden place. She climbed into her bed and fell asleep quickly.

Morning woke Erika early in the morning. SHe changed quickly and went out to the poop deck and gazed around.

Hunter watched the ship from theirs at a good distance they can't see them but they could see that ship. He saw the captain, a girl, and a few sailors examining a map on the deck. "Must be something good." He admitted.

"Hey, cap?" Called Alex as he shimmied down to the deck. "We getting it?" He asked pointing to te ship that was far off.
