The Book Basilisks discussion

After two rounds of polls, we have finally found the winner for December's group read, and the book we will be reading is The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Looking forward to seeing more people join in on the discussions and reading the book alongside each other :D

Has anyone gotten the book yet or have started reading it? I'm planning on starting it next week so I might be a little behind from all of you!

I got the book from the library a few days ago but I haven't started it yet.

Hi everyone we're almost halfway through the month! How's everyone progress so far? Mine has been quite slow, I'm still on page 100-something but I really enjoy it so far!

I mean I'm on page 6 and I'm reading 5 books simultaneously which might be the reason, but I'm absolutely sure I will finish it sometime this week..or at least i hope.

Wow that's a lot of books! I'm sure by the time holidays come you'd be able to read more! But how did you like it so far?

I finished it! It's really good. I wasn't expecting to like it. The ending wasn't what I thought it would be though. It's a fitting ending but at the same time, I kinda want more.

Oh no I haven't finished the book yet and I'm still less than halfway through! Quite liking it so far, though. Not sure about what I think about the main character.
