I have 4 catsTiggy, who's ginger, 5 years old and a little monster.
Lizzy who is 10, she's a lovely cat when you get her in the right mood but she can be a right madam!
And sammy and tommy who are both 14. They're nice and laid back and sammy loves food...all the time!!
We also have fish and a newt.
We used to have lizards, snakes, a terrapin, a rabbit, 2 other cats and 4 hamsters (not at the same time but just over my life time)
Currently, I have a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier named Purple (my sister named him after my mom's favorite color) and a bunch of tropical fish
I only have 1 dog. Wriggle. He is a big yellow English lab. He just past a year old a month ago. He is always happy and loves people, but sometimes he gets too excited and runs around Like a mad man and jumps on people.
I have three cats with weird latin names. A black cat which is strictly mine, Harapos; Juanita, a little brown and hazel stripped; and Chinorri a siamese old family cat. Then there's my lovable dog, Artigas and my new little puppies called Mozart & Callas (after Maria Callas).
i have two cats, jenny and snoopy (jenny is snoopy's mum), and a border collie pomeranian mix named jamie :)(i feel like i've got a hundred more pets, because i work in an animal shelter^^)
I have 3 cats (Fluffy, Peanut, and Trouble)(Trouble is my favorite!) and a dog (beagle, lab, pug mix named Koko).Cats are my favorite though. I was voted most likely to be a crazy cat lady in our choir superlatives last year.
I have a cat Titten, he's about 10 ish? He use to be our next door neighbours but he got hurt and came to us coz they weren't home and the. They moved out and he stayed! That was probably 2005 maybe and I have a rat named Ty Lee (yes from avatar the last Airbender) . And when I move I'm going to get a new cat so I may need some name suggestions later!
I have 2 cats, ones called Scooby and the other one is Scrappy. I got Scooby from the RSPCA because her previous owners abused her
We have one cat called Lady Penelope who's eight years old and a real sook, she even enjoys having her belly rubbed! Other pets I've had include ferrets (5 all up), a mouse, a rat, a rabbit and a horse. If I ever win lotto I'm going to buy a big plot of land and have heaps of animals.
I have a 5 year old puggle (pug/beagle mix) and boy is she LOUD! If she hears a noise that she doesn't like (most everything) she will bark and howl like crazy! She loves people and other animals but can be quite the handful. Her name is Roxy and is very playful when she wants to be but can be the laziest thing in my house when she doesn't feel like playing. My grandparents also have a 1 year old puggle named Gabbi and she just annoys my dog so much! When they are outside they love each other and will play "nicely" but when we get inside and Gabbi still wants to play but Roxy is just like "Get away from me! Let me sleep!" I want a cat but my parents say no because my Grandma is allergic and they visit often.
Now I'm jealous! I've always wanted some kind of animal, but my parents always said no.. now I want a cat, and I want to name him Balthazar!
I have a miniature dachshund (I don't think he is like 100% miniature dachshund though). His name is Franklin :3 I didn't name him but I have grown to love his name a lot. We kind of adopted him. The story is is that he had been passed from family to family because nobody really wanted him. The last family said they were about to give the dog to a shelter :( But that family offered the dog to my dad. My dad decided that we would have the perfect home for him but on the way home my dad let Franklin out of the car to do his business (I don't know a nice way to word that... the dog had to pee ok haha) but Franklin got startled and ran away. My dad couldn't catch him so poor Franklin was lost in the wood for like 2 weeks. :( But luckily one of my dad's coworkers found him somehow and he is now living a safe and happy life with me and my family where he gets lots of love. :) He is such a happy little wiggle worm :3
I have a working cocker spaniel dog called Sid and 4 guinea pigs called Snuffles, Honeydukes, Ron and Fred. I used to have another guinea pig called George but he sadly passed away :(
I'm allergic to animal fur so that rules out most pets, but I have had a fish that died from eating my sister's fish, and a budgie who died last year from old age.

She disappeared one day (this was about 7 years ago) and around two weeks after that, my mum found her up on a tree.
Also, I love the name Franklin! It reminds me of Franklin the turtle, who I absolutely loved when I was little! :)

And Franklin the turtle is like a cartoon right? Because if it is I think I watched it when I was little too :) And lol I give my dog so many nicknames it is ridiculous. I call him Frank, Frankie, wiggle worm, wiggles, and more. Is that weird? haha :)
Matt: sometimes they can spring right back! My dads dog Luke got very very I'll from an infected tooth when he was 12 and we thought for sure that he wasn't going to make it, but after we got a new puppy, like found he had so much more energy to be with the puppy and ended up living 3 more years. Whatever happens with your cat, just know that the Hopefuls will always be there for you :)
I had my cat put down just over a year ago... She had complete kidney failure and the vet said that she should have passed long before she did (she was a stubborn little thing that wanted to stay with me), she never looked sick but one day she dislocated her shoulder and quickly got worse because she couldn't get enough water. The vet told me they could get her well enough to go home but she'd be back in a few days needing the same treatment and that's no way to live (plus the Vet bills would have been shocking, which I would have dealt with to have her) but sometimes you have to think of your pets quality of life and do the right thing by them... I am still sad about my Crystal I got her for my 5th birthday and she passed just before my 19th so she lived a long happy, loved life with me!

It is a very hard decision. I remember I had a dog that was going through something similar and it was hard to decide what to do. But once I figured out what my decision was it got a little easier. Just remember that your cat loves you a lot and always will no matter what you decide. And like Darby said all of us Hopefuls will be here for you. :) <3
I used to have many pets but unfortunately i do not have any atm but looking to buy a bunny :)
We used to have a cat, tropical fish, goldfish, 3 rabbits and a guinea pig and then we had 5 chickens :)
I love animals so much so I'm working towards being a zoo keeper

I REALLY want a dog but at the moment it is not the right time to get one :/ but me and my sister may be getting guinea pigs soon which I am very excited about!!!
I don't technically own any pets- I used to have fish and a budgie when I was little, and that's it. BUT for the past eight or ten years, we've sort of adopted a few neighbourhood cats (they still have heir other homes too though, we don't steal them ha). They feel like they've been mine though hehe. At the moment we have Tigger, he's around 5 and ginger (like me) :) And his sister Pebbles comes to visit too, but not as often. She's the same age but tincy, she's tortoiseshell but with lots of ginger, and she had an accident when she was little so she has no tail but she's beautiful :)I've always wanted pets but we've never got one because I'd be too upset if anything happened to them. One day, though :)

I used to have a bunch of cats and my dad owns several animals (unfortunately we've lost touch so I'm not really counting them) but right now I've got 2 dogs (Preston, a 7 year old and really grumpy schnauzer, and Alex, a 5 year old, incredibly dumb and loving beagle) and a chubby white-and-khaki rat named Castiel who is about 5 months old (I just watch a lot of supernatural, okay?!).
I'm not kidding when I say Preston is grumpy. He weighs only 20 pounds and he tries to attack any strangers that come into our home. He's very sweet with my family, but he hungers for blood...
