Writer's Paradise discussion

Working on: Death's Face (novel in progress)
Started: July 16, 2009.
Word goal: 1,200 words. I'm building it up very gradually until it's 2,000 a day. Updates when I up my word goal.
Current count: 13,928 words (about 21 pages).

(Oh, I forgot to put my total goal. Well, I'm hoping for about 400 pages, which is about 268,000 words by my count. Which is a lot. :( What's the average word goal for people here?)

Welcome to the group, Kai! A lot of people do 100-200 words a day, but whatever you choose is fine. As long as it works for you. :D

i do as much as i can think of, or how much time i have... sometimes it's only like 70 words, sometimes 500...

Haha, thanks. If I do less than 500 words it doesn't work for me. I don't get where I want to be fast enough. I have to write fast or I will lose my interest... The stupid doubt catches up to me. :P

Haha, oh yes. I know. But it will take me so long to finish otherwise!

I don't care how long it takes to write a book. I do it for as long as it takes, as long as it's good. Sometimes i sit daydreaming for hours, and then never get the word down, so then the next day I write it down and I write like 1000 words...

I really need to fix my daydreaming habit. It sometimes gets annoying. I think it annoys some of the teachers too! :P

wat do u mean by 'actual'?

I think she means how much she actually did. Like, she had to get to 16, 336. But she actually wrote to 16, 341.

Clicking helps them hatch because the dragon gods decided it would be that way. Lol I don't know for sure I'm kind of a newbie to the dragon world.

Haha. Sorry, haven't been writing much. Lots of crazy stuff going on. And I'm taking some time to plot out where I'm going. :/

Ha, day 3. ;) Lots of plotting and other commitments in the last week.
Hmm.

Total: 19,807 words (about 30 pages)

So many commitments. And my laziness. =)

I finally figured out how the subplot's going to work, though! :D

Written 930 words today. Shows my laziness. Oh well, at least I wrote!

LAZY???!!!! That;s not lazy for me. I try to write 500 a day. I wrote 904 yesterday. Or would it be called yesterday? I wrote them at 1 in the morning

I'm such a night person. Writing at night is just... wonderful. :) It's so quiet and all you can hear are the keys, and the words in your head and.... mmm... it's so magical.

i get in trouble. I have the radio on usually, and sometimes it's on too loud and my parents hea and i get in trouble

Haha, nice. Yeah, my dad tries to make me go to bed at midnight. I promise him, he goes to bed at like 10, and then I stay up anyway. I'm such a rebel. :)

Sometimes I listen to iTunes... but it's quiet. :)
