Alex hopped through the trees. This was as close he could get to being free from this stupid camp. He slowed and sat on a random branch. Just another year or so then he was out of here.

Dessa slowed her running to a slow walk. The volume of her music was turned up all the way, drums throbbing in her ears through her headphones. The voices had been particularly bad today, and it probably didn't help that she was in a place chock full of shadows, but she couldn't help it. No matter how much she forced herself into the light, the darkness always drew her back in.
Alex noticed the girl. So much for his alone time. He had seen her around camp one of the many witches. He never talked to her but her actions always confused him. He dropped down in front of her and plucked off her headphones. "Whatca listening too?" he asked even though he could hear the song even when they were in her ears.
"Jesus!" Des exclaimed under her breath in shock, barely able to contain the instinctive wave of energy that would have knocked the boy off his feet. Hands clenched, she ignored his question, not having really heard it. "Don't you know it's rude to sneak up on people?" she snapped, trying to slow her pulse, which had jumped higher than it had been when she was running.
Alex ignored her question, just as she had did his. "You should calm down." he smirked, "Hate for you to go into have a heart attack." He told her listening to her heart speed up. He tossed her back her earphones to give himself something to distract himself for its beating.
Odessa scowled, catching her earphones deftly out of the air. In the brief moments that the music had been away from her, the voices had begun to seep back into her mind and the anger coiled up inside her began to grow. This was why she didn't talk to people. "As if it would matter to you," she retorted. Des really needed to calm down, though. Her control was slipping and the voices would only get louder if her emotions were running too high.
Alex raised an eyebrow, "So what's the matter with you witchy?" he asked. She seemed so serious to tune him out and it made him curious.
As much as she didn't want to, Odessa focused as much as she could on his words. If she didn't have her music to drown out the voices, she would have to use his voice. "What's it to you, bloodsucker?" she replied. As much as she needed the distraction, Des had been doing a lot better when she had been on her own.
He smiled, flashing his fangs, an old trick he used on humans to scare them but he knew it wouldn't work on her it was just a habit. "Just curious." he said studying her ,"And your nervous. I can feel it and I know it isn't about me."
Glowering, she fervently denied him. "I am not nervous. I'm irritated and overwhelmed. I'm not nervous." Anxious, sure, but not nervous. It didn't help that she was in the middle of a forest with a stranger who fed off of peoples blood. Why would she be nervous?
Alex laughed, "Your not a good liar." He fingered her hair, "The heart can't lie. So are you going to tell more or are we going to play 20 questions?"
Odessa frowned, stepping out of his reach. "The only reason I would tell you anything was if it would make you let me be," she told him. Her head was starting to throb with the effort of keeping her mind from drifting to the whispers dancing around in her head, trying to coax her into listening to the secrets of strangers.
Alex pulled her back closer to him in lighting speed. Something he usually did with humans in his old gang days. "Come on Witchy." he smiled, "What little secret or locked in that pretty head of yours?"
Dessa's breath caught in her breath from the sudden jolt and she had to almost crane her neck to look him defiantly in the eye. "Wouldn't you like to know?" she answered, reaching out for a shadow that would take him out of his grasp, but then letting her hand fall back to her side. She knew better than to go to the shadows when the voices were this loud.
Alex smiled it was full of lightness and darkness. He lifted up the hand that she had lifted up earlier. "What were you going to do curse me?" he asked. The witch really confused him.
Odessa's hand clenched into a fist and she tried to pull it away from him. "What do you want? Why don't you just leave me alone with the little peace I have?" She didn't even know this boy. What had she done to deserve this kind of attention, though she wasn't sure yet if it was a good or bad thing.
He glared at her and pushed against the tree. He was really getting angry, his eyes flashed red. "Look I just asked a simple question. I don't want to hurt you." But he would if he wanted to, he added mentally.
"This is how you treat people who don't answer your questions?" she replied. Des had no doubt that this boy could very well hurt her. She could hurt him right back, though he wouldn't be the only one who would be pained if she did. "You must not take denial very well."
"You must not take being questioned well." he sneered. He cropped his hands from her arms, and put them in his pockets. "See I'm as innocent as a cat." he smiled, he knew if she ran he could easy catch her.
Dessa's lips thinned. "I never liked cats much," she said, slipping out from between him and the tree. Who knew vampires could be so persistent? Des got the feeling he would appreciate her abilities a bit more than she did. He seemed to love being invasive.
Alex moved in a blur to block her path again. "Well you'll like this one." he smirked. This witch must have a lot of resistant not to run off or turn him into a toad or something. Not that he was complaining.
Odessa gave him a stern look. "I rather doubt it," she replied. She tried to think of an escape plan that wouldn't involve magic, but the stranger seemed to be reluctant to let her pass. As long as he kept talking, no matter how irritating it was, he was keeping her distracted and that was at the very least what she needed.
After Vee was showed around camp she want to the forest to hunt. It has been a long morning for her and she didn't have any blood today. She slowly walks in listening for any movement.
https://sites.google.com/site/kelseys...Fern ran in her wolf form, practicing on her coordination and agility before joining the werewolves on their night. Running over rocks, she waited until the last second and jumped from the edge of the highest rock and into the air.
Vee froze when she heard something. She looked around and saw an animal. She stepped closer and saw that it was a wolf. *a big one* she thinks to her self. She uses her speed power to run to it. Once it was near the ground she knocks it into the tree.
Fern yelped as she hit a tree's trunk, pain radiating through her body. She snarled, her sharp canines flashing and amber she gleaming.
Vee hissed, her fangs showing. She showed that she was scared of her. She held her tightly against the tree trunk as she goes to bit her.
http://hdwallpapermania.com/wp-conten...Fern shifted into her big snow leopard and made a swipe with her razor sharp claws at the vampire.
With wide eyes Vee jumps back. *what the hell* Vee thinks to her self. She was lucky she moved fast or she would have been cut. She circled the snow leopard not ready to back away.
Raising her hackles, she hissed as her eyes blazed with alarm and caution. "What the hell is wrong with you?" She pushed the thought into the girl's mind, screaming loudly.
Shocked from hearing that in her brain she backed away even further. "Did you do that?" She asked the snow leopard. She didn't know if she'll even understand.
Fern shifted into her human form, watching her warily. "Yes, I did."((I gtg, about to watch Captain America. Ttyl :) ))
*oh my god* Vee thinks as she watched her transform. She didn't know people or whatever she was can do that. She never saw such thing. "W-what are you?" ((Kk, enjoy it!))
Fern glared ferociously, "Shift shaper right now." Her eyes flashed amber. "Chameleon basically. Haven't been to Shadow Falls Camp?"((I'm back :D))
*what is she talking about?* she thought and shook her head no for a respons. ((awe :( i have to gtg to sleep))
Fern shook her head and stepped back, "No wonder. I'm a new kind of supernatural species." She said and leaned on the tree's trunk behind her.((Ok, goodnight! :) ))
vee didnt know that was possible, to be new. but she didn't. she was intrested in what she can do. speeking in a low voice she asks "what do you exactly do?"(last one, night!)
Fern shrugged, "Change brain patterns, go from werewolf, fae, vampire, and the others. As for any other abilities, I'm still learning and discovering them myself." She wondered why she had isolated herself from society and asked her.((Night!))
"Ok" vee nods. She looks over her once more the asks. "So if i go hunting again do you think ill catch a person?" She didn't want to have anyone dead because of her.
"Never mind" she tells her then turns around to leave. She heard something and walked to it hoping it was an animal.
She backs up into a tree trunk. She remembered what that was. He can change into anything. She looked at him "why are you scared?" She was the one that was scared.
