April Fools Day!

If you haven't read Colleen Hoover's Maybe Someday - read it! It has plenty of pranks throughout, not to mention, it's a great book!
It's a cruel, cruel world. I got an email from Cassandra Clare's TMI Source since oI follow it. It was a link to Teen.com where a excerpt from the last chapter of CoHF was leaked. Which doesn't make sense because if it was leaked, she would try to keep it hush hush. But still....I spent the last half hour in a mortal dilemma deciding to spoil the book for myself or not. Finally I read it, hated myself the whole time...then found out it was some april fools joke. Clary dying by choking a necklace O.o Pfft whatever.
Haha, Steph. My husband used to post on Facebook that we were having another baby every April Fool's Day. We have four kids, so you can imagine all of the "Haven't you figured out what causes that yet?" and "Are you sure y'all aren't Catholic?" comments. I hate April Fool's Day. I don't prank people, and I hate to be pranked. I guess that makes me a party pooper. lol
Two of the funniest books I've read lately were:
and
I really enjoyed them both. The Wager has a hilarious meddling grandma and would fit the theme of April Fool's Day very well.
For April Fools, one of my students told me that she texted her mother at the very beginning of the school day saying she was pregnant (this was a 16 year old, by the way) and then she shut her phone off. I felt so bad for her mom! She said she was crying all day and was just really hoping it was an April Fools joke. Of course her daughter then told her mom that she completely forgot it was April Fools and kept going with the joke and adding onto it. Thank goodness she finally told her mom she was kidding!
