- some footman/assassin tricked him into a trap when he was 7 so basically he nearly got assassinated and that's when they realised what he had - ish
- so basically he's always either on his own in his room, or with his guard, or with someone from his family, and when there's balls and stuff his parents encourage him to stay in his room for obvious reasons
