Calumet City Public Library discussion

I love that we are diverting from our usual literary fiction to try a short story collection. A fair warning that the audio book is not the full book.

I have felt nothing but gut wrenchingly sad while listening/reading these stories so far but I think that the title and the theme of the works "say you're one of them" is beautifully done. The idea that to fit in even to survive you must say you're one of them.

Any favorites of the collection so far? I have only read 2 of 5 so far so I am not ready to make a judgement just yet.
