I'm excited to read this book! I've also read Brideshead revisited by the same author which is, perhaps, one of my favorite books ever.

I'm ordering the book from amazon now. Let's plan on formally starting on the 10th of April. When I've gotten my copy of the book, I'll put together a discussion plan where we can read up to chapter Y and then discuss those chapters after each of these intervals.

M.R. (twohectobooks) I haven't read this one yet, but I've read Scoop, which was probably one of the funniest books I've ever read. I didn't care all that much for Brideshead Revisited, though.

There are 7 chapters in the book, with the first and last chapters being rather short. How about we plan on the following schedule:

10th->15th: Du côté de chez Beaver & English Gothic - I
15th->20th: Hard cheese on Tony
20th->25th: English Gothic - II
25th->30th: In Search of a City
1st->5th: Du côté de chez Todd & English Gothic - III

I've been trapped by work and overestimated my reading ability. :(

What are your thoughts on the book?

Cpm | 2 comments I've finished and would like to hear your opinions on how it ended and the flow of it in general. I don't want to give out spoilers so I'm not sure how to address it.

Mike Alvarez | 3 comments I didn't enjoy the book much until the "divorce proceedings which I found beyond hilarious. The ending was deliciously vicious!
