Please post your thoughts after reading this book in this thread.

I'm on the waiting list for both books this time, but should have them by mid-April.

I got Hild at the library and made a try at reading it. I had to give it up. There were too many authentic, old words that were constantly introduced. Not that it's not understandable, but just that it slows the reading and makes it more educational whereas I was looking to read for enjoyment.

I was really looking forward this book but I would have to agree with Lynn. I found myself re-reading pages and constantly flipping to the glossary in the back and the family tree in the front to get some clarification. I wasn't enjoying it and I knew I'd never finish it in the two weeks allotted by the library so when I saw the kindle version on sale I downloaded that. I'm willing to give it another go and the Kindle version will give me all the time I need.
