Yep, I agree Jethro Tull's appeal is not confined to one generation but travels beyond and captures new fans of many ages.... Who couldn't resist Ian Anderson's flute...love love love it!
Gotta start off with of course Aqualung - iconic Tull! Then Thick as a Brick.......Too old to rock n roll too young to die..love Bouree as well... Christmas Song??!, all amazing tunes ..such a privilege to be able to enjoy!
I agree with those (although I haven't listened a lot to too old... yet). I think Stand Up has a lot of great tunes too, and you start to see that Ian tries to find his own style.
I think Tull is one of the greatest rock bands of all time, with the perfect combination of Folk, Blues, Prog and Heavy. And Ian Anderson's flute playing is incdredible!
