I recommend The Archers of Avalon trilogy! It is a really underrated book and I absolutely adore them. It has a really interesting plot line and steamy romances. It definitely surprises you! It kept me guessing!

This is such a beautiful read.
Recommended for someone who wants to read a single book, and not a series/trilogy.
Also has great vivid imagery! :>

message 20: by Louise (new)

Louise White | 9 comments I would highly recommend Unholy Ghosts It's a bit grittier than my usual preferences (YA Fantasy) but it's pretty fantastic, and the start of a super series.

message 21: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments Unholy Ghosts, what is this about? @Louise

message 22: by Louise (new)

Louise White | 9 comments This is a book that would never have normally appealed Marianna. It's about a drug addicted 'Church' Witch who lives away from her peers and somehow manages to carry out her work and function pretty well. It doesnt glamourise drug use (a plus for me) but its a fact that the witch needs them. I thought I wouldn't like the characters, but I did. The witch is such a complicated compelling, and funny character, and the story is drawn so well that I had to like it. But like I said, it is dark and gritty- but unbelievably good. This is my review and it's not as spoiler filled as my usual. If you plan on reading it, maybe best to avoid the review though!

message 23: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments So it's about a witch? I don't quiet understand.

Marianna, I was just recommending a book I liked on this thread. Oops - Did I post on the wrong thread- or should I have put the quote in before posting- I forget to do that sometimes!

message 25: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments No, it's the correct one. :D

message 26: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments You know what you guys should read the books by Richelle Mead it's called Bloodlines. :D

message 27: by Louise (new)

Louise White | 9 comments I've heard Richelle Mead is a great author. I'll give Bloodlines a look-see :)

message 28: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments Alright, you'll love it. She has written some adult books if your interested. I've read them all they are very good.
Like the series storm born, very good.

Saloni (salpal77) | 288 comments Mod
Is that the spin off of Vampire Diaries?
I highly recommend the Unwind dystology, it's amazing.

message 30: by Maryanne (new)

Maryanne | 771 comments If your talking about the series Storm Born? If you are, then they are way different than Vampire Diaries. If not, that what series are you talking about? Bloodlines? Vampire Academy? If that is the case, than no it's completely different.

This is the first book in a dystopian trilogy which I loved! I don't think it's that popular since it's a UK book :P
