11/50 thus far! I've found myself immersed in the Vampire Academy novels by Richelle Mead and recommend them to anyone who likes YA, romance, and some fun with their vampire lore.I'm still a touch behind to make my goal, but I've been catching up pretty quickly in the last week. Here's to fast and fun reads that help catch us up when we're falling behind!
Also 11/50. Have to say, haven't had a clunker yet. And my favorite so far? Somebody Else's Love Story.
Finding (making?) time to read during 2014 has been a challenge. I'm at 10/52 for the year. A few books behind but there's plenty of time left to catch up. I've mostly been reading urban fantasy and books that are already on my bookshelves. Not surprising, my favorite book so far has been Proven Guilty by Jim Butcher.
I'm on 13 of 30 so far. I've been slacking lately and started january off with a bang. I am getting back into it but I think I burnt myself out in january! lol. I'm just happy I finished Les Mis. I have a lot of good books and series coming up the rest of the year! I'm excited
I'm doing really well with my challenge this year (could have something to do with the fact that I've more or less given up TV). I had to up my challenge to 120 books! I'm at 67/120 so far and it breaks down to:
32 books
23 graphic novels/comics
12 shorts
I think my two favorites so far are Divergent Series Complete Box Set, Fortune's Pawn and Honor's Knight.
My least enjoyed books were probably Perfume: The Story of a Murderer and 1Q84 as I'm still unable to finish it.

My original goal was 55 since I read 77 last year and thought it would be a busy year this year. Surprisingly I've found more time so I'm at 23 already and may extend my goal to 100 (and beat out last year). I only count books with over 170 pages toward my goal since I read a ton of short stories too.
I'm at 13 books so far this year and have four that I'm currently in the middle of. No, wait, five. I forgot to include the audio book I started on the way home last night.Standouts in my non-fiction reading are 1) Lit! A Christian Guide to Reading books by Tony Reinke and 2) Expository Listening: a Handbook for Hearing and Doing God's Word by Ken Ramey.
Standouts in my fiction reading are 1) The Lost Wife by Alyson Richman and 2) Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
I was surprised to discover that I do like Jane Austen after all, though I think I need to listen to her books rather than read them. Finally made it through Pride and Prejudice that way and really enjoyed it.
So far only two that I haven't been able to get through - 1) Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra and 2) One Thousand Gifts: a Dare to Live Fully Right Where you Are by Ann Voskamp.
So far it's been a great reading year.
Juli
