3rd Period Language Arts discussion

This diary was about a young girl writing about her experiences while hiding for 2 years during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. During this time the Nazi were taking anybody who wasn't a German and putting them in concentration camps. They were hiding in a attic of a store and they couldn't move or make a sound while the store was open. To keep her kind of that she began writing stories in her diary. Her diary ends, for on August 4, 1944, the Secret Annexe was raided and they were taken away to German and Dutch concentration camps. Anne Frank died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. The diary was found by Miep Gies, who gave it to Anne's father, Otto Frank, the only known survivor of the family.
