The hunger games movies obviously weren't as good as the books but who do you think did a good job acting as their character? Personally I pictured katniss dirty blonde/light brown haired.

I haven't seen the movies but I thought Jennifer Lawrence looks good for the part. Plus she's awesome.

Peeta was okay but Gale's actor seemed a bit old.

I agree. I think they did ok but I find that Liam had too much of a hard personality for gale. I pictured gale a bit more friendlier looking and a bit younger as well.

I was not a huge fan of Peeta in the movies! I would have loved him to have been casted differently. Katniss was casted well. All be it I originally pictured her differently. However, Jennifer Lawrence did a fantastic job!

I loved Jennifer as well but I also pictured her differently. Despite the description given of katniss I originally pictured her blonde. Also at first I wasn't quite sure of peeta either but josh has grown on me.

I think Jennifer is the perfect Katniss. I personally am not a big fan of the actress that plays Prim.

I think they chose the right person to play Effie as well

Yes!!! Elizabeth Banks was amazing! She defiantly showed Effie's character growth in Catching Fire

Yes! I really thought she played Rue perfectly. Even down to her voice she was what I pictured Rue to be like. She was the best person for that role.

He did a good job but i actually pictured him much more older.

Not enough good can be said about Amandla Stenberg as Rue. While I agree that other castings were great(Jennifer Lawrence can do anything and Elizabeth Banks killed as Effie) Rue was tops for me as far as the performance and matching what I saw in the character while reading the book.

Yes Amandla Stenberg has done an unbelievably amazing job!!

I thought they did a great job, but they weren't what I pictured in my head (especially Gale, Peeta, and kinda Katniss).

For some reason I pictured them to look younger.

I think Liam Hemsworth plays and looks like the perfect Gale! :)

Yeah I feel the same with divergent ,the books were so much better. Theo James is a hottie though

I had seen the movie before I read the books for hunger games and divergent so it was hard for me to imagine them looking different

I thought that everyone was perfect for the book ad I think president snow and Peeta were perfectly portrayed in the films and I can't wait for the last 2 parts of mockingjay

Ok know I watched it it was AMAZING!!!!!!! It just annoying that it is is two parts

Tbh, I am glad it's in two parts because it reminds me that the franchise isn't over yet(if that makes any sense) when I walk out of the theater after watching mockingjay part 1 I'm going to be happy that its not completely over and that I still get to see more katniss, peeta, FINNICK (though we all know how he ends
up :(((( ) and the rest of the characters.

I guess that's true it just depends at what point they end the first part :( hopefully it is at a good point not just completely random
