Clary sat at a table, swirling her tea in her cup. She was drawing, not really paying attention to anything.

Clary glanced up at the tinkling of the bell, and saw a girl walk in, looking confused. She smiled and thought, 'Newcomer. I wonder what she can do.'

Jade walked over to a table. She sat down, looking at the highly decorated table surface. The bell that had rang when she came in had caught her attention as well.
Clary looked back at her doodles, taking her attention away from the girl. She had drawn symbols, Clary had noticed, that her brother would always draw. She smiled at the thought of Johnny.

Jade looked around. Her eyes were wide with confusment and amazement. Her gaze traveled down the signs and symbols that the girl had appeared to have drawn. She was curious as to what they meant, but she didn't trust people too easily. She self consciously hid her left, scarred hand that had a black lace glove over it to hide her curse
Clary saw the girl move her hand. 'Wonder if something happened,' she thought. Clary moved back to her journal, whilst taking a sip of her tea. She started to draw her brother unconsciously. It had been a such a long time since she had seen her family, as her powers attracted a lot of demons, which wasn't good. So, Clary drew them to remind her they were still out there. She smiled when she started in his sweeping ginger hair, which both of them shared.

Jade stared at the small drawing. The formation itself was good. She wondered if it was a family member of hers. She wondered if she had a family, since she was told that there were millions of people on this planet, if not billions.
Clary jumped a little, "Oh! Sorry, miss, I haven't introduced myself yet. The name's Clary, what's yours?" Her strong Australian accent colored her words.

"Jade." She said. She wasn't sure if most people would give their full name or not. She didn't know her full name quit yet, still one thing she was trying to figure out
Clary noticed Jade was very uncertain when saying her name. "Do ya know your powers? Mine's heat, which if I do say so myself, is pretty cool," She lit one of her fingers on fire, and had the flame dance around. "See?"

She nods. "Heat is cool." She said. She was never warm. In fact she was always, sadly, always cold. She had never a spark of heat inside of her since she had Woken up and ran from Death's fingers. But it didn't matter to her. She was away from Death's fingers and as long as she was inside the castle, she was away from Demon. Nobody knew it was her who started the whole demons hunting people, but she had her reasons. "I can see the Shadow Walkers, teleport through black smoke, and I have wings." She said
"You can see the Shadow Walkers?!" Clary's eyes were wide. "I can only seem them with Fire Vision, which I just learned how to do. And I'm not very good at it," She smiled sheepishly.

Clary nodded, not wanting to get into the conversation anymore. Getting into the Barrier was always a bad story, no matter what. Hers was particularly bloody and sad. Clary started sketching to keep her mind off it.

Jade was fine with the silence. It allowed her to think. And even though some things she didn't like to think about, she thought of them anyways just to keep her occupied
Clary glanced at time. "Oh no! I'm sorry miss, I've got to go somewhere," she started packing but then stopped. "Would you like to come with me? I could show you around, I can tell you don't know your way around here."

Clary smiled at the girl. She felt a need to take Jade under her wing. Clary automatically felt she had taken the older sister role when she met her. "Follow me, miss."

Clary sat at her usual table, her cup of tea steaming. She yet again had her notebook out, and was drawing her family.
Clary looked up when she saw a boy sit down. Her pencil tapped a against her notepad as she studied him. She subconsciously pushed her red curly hair behind her ear, as she introduced herself, "Ello, mister. The name is Clary. What's yours?" Even after 3 years if being here, her Australian accent was still strong.
Clary could tell he was shy. "Nice to meet you." She looked back at her drawings. She had been drawing her parents, and frowned a little bit. A tear slipped out, and she furiously wiped it away.
Clary' face saddened even more. "Oh." She looked down at her notebook, then decided something last minute. She leafed through her notebook, until she reached her Ohana page, which was a collection of things you should remember about your family. She ripped it out and gave it to him.
Clary's green eyes were still wide. "U-uh.." She stared at him through curious and shocked eyes.
"No, no, that's not what I meant," Clary rushed to reassure Kaiden. "You can stay if you want, I don't mind. It's fun talking to you."
"It's fine," Clary smiled. "It was my first kiss, so I was just a little shocked." She darkened the sketch of her parents, adding smile lines around her father's eyes.
Clary smiled at him. It seemed like she was smiling a lot. "That's ok. So, uh, do you like the drawing?"
Clary almost missed the compliment, and when she processed what Kaiden had said, she was blushing. "I'm glad." She took a sip of her tea.
Clary's blush and smile dropped. She had heard the last comment under his breath. She took one last sip of her tea, "I'm going to go now." Clary cursed herself under her breath, and unconsciously set her fist on fire, as she was getting up.
Clary looked at him confused. "Well... Would you be ok with that? I mean, I would, but I don't know if you would, and-" She continued on rambling.
Clary bit her lip, after recovering from initial shock, "Alright.. Yes, I will be your girlfriend." The fire on her fist had faded.
