Monril Station

It was long before Midori walked to Monril Station, and stepped onto the platform with Skye. "So we're finally here, we mustn't get caught", proclaimed Midori worryingly.
Skye, holding the EVP, took a deep breath and zoomed in on the mind wavelengths around them. "We're okay Midori, the closest mind to us at the moment is at the school," she frowned. "But there are more spiritua minds near us. But the guy who died here, is not. The others are just mindless spirits, wandering around, roaming. WE should be okay for a while, I'll keep checking."
Opening her eyes, she looked at Midori. "What should we do first then?"
"Maybe we should just wonder around the station first. I'll use the EMF detector to get a basic electromagnetic field reading, so that I'll notice if there is any fluctuations."
Midori held out the EMF detector in front of her, and circled the station patiently. I better make sure it doesn't come in contact with anything electrical, because it will mess up the readings, exclaimed Midori. "Maybe you can ask some questions to the spirit. You may record a response on the EVP."

"Good idea," said Skye as she followed Midori, walking around the station, not following her, but matching the circular patterns. She held the recorder up, letting it listen. Every so often she called out, "Hello." The Recorder would fluctuate a little, but not enough. As she walked near the edge of the platform however, she shivered, passing over one particular section closer to the school. "I think I just passed the cold spot every one talks about...." Said Skye. "Want to run the EMF over here?"

"Really?" Midori quickly walked over to the same spot where Skye felt the cold spot, it was as cold as ice. She held out the EMF, "Wahhh, look, it's actually going down! It's actually gone down from an average 0.99 reading to a 0.03 reading, it's actually going down as we speak!" The spirit probably sucked away the energy from it's surroundings in order to generate more energy to manifest, leaving a cold spot behind.
"So it was here the guy died," said Skye, looking at how close the spot was to the edge of the platform. She somewhat choked on her next words, when she realised what it meant. "He didn't even get to jump off completely before he died...but then..." she looked up at Midori, her mind processing furiously. "...that could possibly mean that the train was accelerating and not braking as it arrived?"
"Could of it possibly been just a passing by train? Maybe he backed off at the last minute, however, a train was already passing by and it was too late. Midori got chills by that horrible thought. "No wonder why he's aimlessly wondering around, he's still probably suffering from the trauma of getting hit by a train. His death would have been so quick he would've known what hit him."
"You know they say that sometimes those who die in car crashes and those who die quickly or unexpectedly sometimes don't realise that they've actually died."

"Could be, could anything. I just want to know, was it a suicide, or an accident? why would there be stories of other students slipping and almost falling into the path of the train? Does that mean it was deliberate? Like you said, it could have been instantaneous and he probably didn't even realise he died...And this reading..." Skye gestured to the EMF's readings. "...is even I think you'll agree, way off the charts for a gentle and harmless spirit. This guy, I wonder what his story was?"
Midori sighed, "If only I knew..."
Suddenly everything went still, the usual slight background noise diminished. "Beep beep!..." Midori looked down at the EMF detector that was placed in her hand. "Look... it looks like we have an EMF spike." She looked at the reading and it was quite high. Maybe we can take advantage of this situation, thought Midori. "If this is the boy who tragically died here ten years ago make this EMF detector stop beeping!"
Suddenly it stopped...

...and a voice, entered both Skye's mind and the EVP. It was just a faint whisper, with static. "What was that?" Asked Skye aloud, looking around, attempting to pinpoint the direction in which the mind voice came from. "Can you please repeat that? Are you the boy who tragically died here?"
Midori stood back as it appeared Skye was picking up on something supernatural. "Did you hear something?" Wondered Midori.
"Yeah, the EVP did too," she looked at Midori. "It's really faint...."Suddenly there was a loud burst of static on the EVP and in her mind. And the reading on the EMF slammed through the roof.
"Midori...? What does that kind of reading mean?" Asked Skye looking at the EMF.
Midori couldn't believe the kind of high reading it was giving off, "umm, I'm not too sure, but let's just say it's not natural." Midori knew it was know time to joke around, but she couldn't believe what was happening just now. "If you're here make yourself known!" Screamed Midori, even though the two readings were already pretty convincing. "If that's all you've got you're pretty pathetic!" Midori knew she shouldn't provoke the spirit like she was, but she wanted even more out of the spirit, for non disputable evidence. She then realised that she had previously put Skye's camera in her pocket, so she took a few snaps.
Skye opened her mind for the mind voice to reach her as Midori snapped ictures. But then she heard another mind voice, and grabbed Midori's arm. "Oh shit," She said, "Come on Midori, we have to hide! Teacher!"
Midori was startled, however, they quickly ran behind a near by bush. "That was close", whispered Midori.
"Extremely," said Skye, as they watched the teacher patrol the station. Skye shivered. And then flinched, something cold touching her neck.
((BTW Angela, are you still continuing? o.O))Skye flinched and turned sharply, but nothing was behind her, when she turned again, she gasped.
((Okay then! But maybe we should head to the library first so it's not like we're jumping from case to case. Then they can head to the mental institution))
((Sure!))
Midori suddenly realised that the teachers were gone, however, if they investigated any further it was going to be risky. "Hey I think we should leave the station for now." She started to walked back to Monril Academy, with Alison and Skye trailing behind her.

However, it is also known to be haunted. A student of Monril Academy threw herself in front of a train ten years ago, causing a lot of uproar and devastation within the school. On various cases, students have alleged seeing this student hang around the station.
