I've had good luck with PixelofInk and eReaderNews
If your book is new, Booksends requires a minimum of 5 reviews.

Advertising on KBoards didn't move any books for me. However, forum members have purchased my books after I started participating in the forums regularly.
I am about to have a big promotion this coming weekend 6 September onwards for 3 days. I have advertised with Bookbub. It is 3rd time I have tried to get in with them as they only accept about 15% of books put forward due to high number of requests. They state that about 20,000 on average get downloaded in the free ebook promotion and sales go up afterwards for significant amount of time. I will let you know how I get on. It cost me $190 so quite expensive but great for exposure. As it only been 8 months since publication I am still working on gaining maximum exposure. Ereadernewstoday and pixel of ink - have used both and both good. Inside/Outside

Once I get my updated book finished and back from my editor I want to start promoting a bit more seriously. Has anyone used any of the below to promote your book.
Pixel of Ink
Kindle books and Tips
Booksends
Erreader News
Kboards
Kindle fire department
