This is one book I would recommend both to students, parents, teachers, mental health staff, and any caregiver of a teen. The multitude of issues discussed in this book, from the viewpoint of a teenager, can only serve to provide insight into the life of teens. Some of the issues get resolved, some don’t. Just like life. Some issues can be explained as to why they happen, some can’t. Just like life. I wish I had read this book when my children were still in high school. I think it would have helped me understand their angst, fears, anxieties, and need to participate and not be a wallflower.
