Those will be added to my 'to read list'! :) But I just finished reading Illusion (Chronicles of Nick) by Sherrilyn Kenyon. She has an amazing adult series too titled 'Dark-Hunter'. Some of her work is about to become movies and tv series. And some have been made into graphic novels.
i really enjoyed the Mercy Thompson series by patricia briggs, though its a paranormal book its really well written and is more focused on life and people than on the paranormal its a great read and even better there are like 8 books in the series so far and they are all pretty long the author is also still writing one. there is also the Alpha and omega series that exists in the same universe and time frame. really good i reread them many times, though its nothing like the academy series, i would definitely recommend them... if you dont like paranormal i would recommend Magic Hour (misleading title, has nothing to do with magic, it is about a feral child that is found and the people who find her, really good pulls on the heart strings though).. bloody jack by L A Meyer.. is pretty good too its about a girl that pretends to be a boy to get out of a shitty life and become a member of a navy ships crew.
Hi Y'all I'm Christina. I'm reread the witch fairy series by Bonnie Lamer. Also the keatyn chronicles by Jillian Dodd and the breed chronicles by Lanie Jordon. And the lux novel series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I will reread my faves in between C.L. Stone books. Can't wait for the next teaser to come out. All the books I put on this the first one is free on Amazon. That is how I got into C.L. Stones books.
So I'm here today to talk about aliens... I'm not kidding. I'm talking area 51 freaking aliens...
Christina... I am currently reading the Lux series thanks to you! I picked up the first one yesterday morning, and last night I got into the second one. Calling into work faking sick crossed my mind this morning, but I pulled myself together and came in... I'm currently hiding behind a stack of files and papers with my kindle stashed in an envelope to make it look like I'm actually reading documents... Yeaa...

Here is another if you want to check it out. Demons at Deadnight by A&E Kirk. Just read these can't wait for the next one. These are too cute and funny.
I love The Academy and can't wait for the next one, but in the meantime I recommend Rock Chicks by Kristen Ashley. That is a HOT series. I am now reading the Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn. She's a werewolf dj who gets into a lot of trouble. It's interesting how she finds her way out of her situations.
Hi everyone just joined and thought I would recommend some of my favorite authors too. Anything by Jennifer Armentrout is good she has such a way with her characters. The lux series was one of my favorites. Caragh M. O'Brien Birthmarked Trilogy, The Velesi Trilogy by L. Filloon Abigail Owen is awesome also and I have read all of her books, loved them all. Starla Huchton Evolution series was good. Kate Avery Ellison Love everything she writes. Hope this gives everyone some good choices. Some of the first books from these authors I got for free and love so much I continues with the series
Hi Ladies, happy to find this group! I just finished House of Korba...living on 4 hrs of sleep today. I'm totally addicted to this series and was hoping for some recommendations from you of other super addictive, non-paranormal series. Happy with YA to Adult, just want something really addictive like this series. Another one I loved was Keaytn Chronicles. Do you have any recommendations? Don't know how we'll make it until April for the next one! Thanks!
Spearwood Academy: Episode One is pretty good. Reverse harem though slow on the romance like Ghost Bird.
I second the mention of mortal instruments and infernal devices. Cassandra Clare is amazing. Her and CL Stone are my favorite authors. PLUS it's worth mentioning that mortal instruments is being made into a tv show. Starts in January! I can't wait!
While we wait in agony.....Everyone should go and check out:
-Books by Tijan if you like a little darker stories
- Abbie Glines if you like young love
- or what I am reading now which is "The Premonition Series" by Amy A. Bartol
If you do decide on any of these they all have at least 3 or more to them and I definitely suggest you read them in order.
I love reading and books!
Gijik wrote: "I am currently binge reading mangas. Waiting for the next book is so agonizing!" CL is great about letting people write fan fiction. She isn't allowed to read it though. There are hundreds of GB, SB, crossovers, and Academy (original characters) stories. You should check them out on WattPad.
So i'm Re-Reading Laurell K Hamilton's Anita blake - Vampire hunter series and still love it and all her beautiful vampire/wereanimal man lovers.. if you never read this serie before try it out.. :)
