I feel that it could be because it's stopping reproduction. What do you think.

No, I don't believe it is. I do believe the so called "morning-after" pill is wrong, but to take just the regular pill? No. If God wants a woman pregnant, she will get that way no matter if she's on the pill, had her tubes tied, what ever method of birth control she or her SO uses.

I took the pill for about a month after the birth of my first child, 22 years ago, but had such a nasty reaction to it, that I quit taking it. My husband and I from then on, never used anything to prevent pregnancy. We only had 2 more children in spite of the fact that we did not try to prevent it.

Our daughter takes it now, to prevent becoming pregnant again too soon after their daughter Samantha was born(she suffered a miscarriage in Sept of last year). Her body was not able to handle pregnancy again so soon after Samantha was born, so her doc recommended she take the pill.

That question is difficult for me to answer. As someone who is not religious i would say no. But the question isn't is it wrong or right, the question is "is it a sin". In god eyes i can see how it could be considered a sin. I think in the catholic religion it is a sin. It would be considered "playing god". morally i see no problem with it, but God might.

One must look at this issue from the perspective of God in order to answer this question. As our father, God knows that mortality is essential for our eternal progression. In other words, we are here to be tried and tested. There are many souls that are anxiously awaiting their place on this earth. They also want their opportunity to come and experience life. They know that this life will be difficult, but the glorious blessing of eternal life will make it well worth it. With that being said, God commanded us to provide bodies for those souls after promising someone of the opposite sex that we would be with them forever. Sexual union requires a commitment for eternity, because God wants us to bring children into a union of love and security. He wants us to give his spirit children the best opportunity for a good life experience. Back to providing bodies...If we obstruct the plan for our bodies then we will forfeit the joy that will eventually be ours for providing bodies to souls. Don't think of it in terms that you are going to be punished if you take birth control, but that you may regret your choice because you will not feel a fullness of love by bringing children into the world. Controversial in your eyes perhaps, but we shall see...

I would say based on most biblical scholars and the bible that the answer is yes. But perhaps the greatest Sin is not using your God-Given sense, when it comes to reproducing.
