Ashpelt padded out, happy to be away from camp.

Sparrowfire padded out of camp and called to AShpelt "Where do you want hunt?"

"Can I come?" Red paw mewed walking out if the camp up to Sparrowfire.

"Ashpelt was the one taking you out silly!" Sparrowfire laughed flicking her ear with his tail.

"I know!!" Redpaw bounced and ran to catch up with Ashpelt, "SO! What are we going to do?" ((Does one of you 2 want to be her mentor? I don't care which one.))

((Ashpelt can! That's why she was taking her out.))

Ashpelt smiled. "Well, as far as hunting, we need to find anything fat for the elders." She mewed playfully.

((Okay!!)) Redpaw nodded and started scenting for prey.

Sparrowfire nodded and sniffed the air for prey.

Ashpelt went in to a hunters crouch, scenting and listening for any sort of prey.

Redpaw smiled as she scented a mouse. She started stalking it and when she got close enough she pounced and killed it. Thank you Starclan for this prey She murmured and buried it.

Tigerstar and Pineclaw ran side by side and they headed toward the Riverclan Border

Ashpelt crept around and scented rabbit. Before she knew it she was off.

Tigerstar smelt Feathermoon from RiverClan and he nodded to Pineclaw then started to pad toward Ashpelt

Ashpelt raced after the rabbit, corned it and killed it quickly.

Tigerstar saw Ashpelt and nodded "Good catch, next time don't let it run kill it right away then all the other prey doesn't hear you in the chase and run away"

Ashpelt nodded to her leader. Praise and an insult, that was seriously weird for Tigerstar. Hang on, she thought, if I know Tigerstar he'll insult me right about...

Tigerstar just jumped into a tree and climbed up high watching everything

Huh, she thought, no insult. She shook it off and carried the limp rabbit over to the clearing where they had first began, then began scanning from more prey.

Sparrowfire sniffed the air smelling a magpie. He smirked and dropped into a crouch and stalked up to the bird. Once he was close enough he pounced snapping its neck.

feathermoon walked up to the border on the RiverClan side and purred as she brushed against Frieclaw.

Fireclaw licked feathermoon's head and said "Are you okay??"

Feathermoon nodded "Just tired"

After catching 2 moles and a finch, she sat in the clearing and gave a yowl to signal the other cats to come.

Sparrowfire heard his clanmate yowl so he picked up his prey and raced to her.

Ashpelt saw Sprarrowfire bolting in and mewed "Everything's fine, I just yowled to get you back here."

"What did you want?" He asked.

Tigerstar jumped through the trees until he was above the cats. He looked down at them his claws glittering in the sun

"I was just going to say maybe we should get back to camp, the Elders are probably hungry by now." She replied.

Sparrowfire nodded and padded to camp with his prey.

TIgerstar jumped through the trees and got to the entrance of the camp. Then jumped down and entered

Redpaw followed Spsrrowfire into camp with her prey.

Creeklily ran up to the deputy and mewed "any patrols I can join in?"

"Sure, any warriors you want with you?" She replied.

"None in particular"

"Well, I see who I can round up." She replied to Creeklily and padded into camp.

Tawnyice padded out of camp she started to make her way towards where the marigold and and raspberry leaves grew the best. She then stopped remembering that she had Silverpaw and Blackpaw coming to help her.

"...Can you go any slower!?" (Blackpaw)

"Shut up! You're going to wake up the whole forest!" (Silverpaw)

"Would not!" (Blackpaw)

"Would too!" (Silverpaw)

Blackpaw hissed as he walked toward Tawnyice. "Why did I have to come with?"

"Because I wanted you to," Silverpaw mewed as she passed him and sat down next to the medicine cat.

Blackpaw rolled his eyes and sighed. Stupid she-cat...

"Would you two stop bickering." Tawnyice meowed. "And you came because I need help carrying the herbs and seeing you two weren't doing anything and grabbed you to help." She began walking deeper into their territory slightly hesitating to see if the apprentices were following.

Silverpaw nodded and followed, doing her best to ignore Blackpaw.

"You're so slow!" Blackpaw growled. "Even the slowest creature in the world would be faster than you two!"

"And you're very impatient." Tawnyice retorted calmly. She stopped at a a bush with dark velvet berries on it. Next to it was a bush with lighter velvet berries on it.

Silverpaw tipped her head. "What are those?"

With her tail Tawnyice pointed to the lighter berries and said. "Those are juniper berries and those are Nightshade berries." She pointed to the darker berries for the latter. "We are only going to grab juniper though." She meowed.

Blackpaw stuck his face very close to the dark berries. "They look evil..." He growled.

Tawnyice flicked Blackpaw with her tail. "Well that's cause they are, now don't touch them." She growled a warning.

Silverpaw grabbed Blackpaw's scruff and dragged him away. "Don't do that..." She hissed and softly wacked his head with her paw.

"I wasn't going to!" Blackpaw rolled his eyes. "I was just looking."

"That is all you better do with those berries." Tawnyice meowed sternly. She went over to the lighter berries and grabbed a birch leaf. Carefully she began picking berries and placed them on the leaf.

"I'm not an idiot..." Blackpaw mumbled to himself.

"Never said you were." Tawnyice replied. She pushed the bundle of berries over to one of the apprentices.

"I don't need to be told what to touch and not to touch. I know what's good for me and what isn't." Blackpaw mewed.

Silverpaw didn't say a word and just payed attention to what she was doing and took the herbs.

"Yes well I'm your medicine cat and I tend to worry." Tawnyice replied she had began filling another leaf with berries. She passed it to Blackpaw, before grabbing another leaf, only this time she filled the leaf with Nightshade. Grabbing two more leaves she covered the bundle completely, careful to make sure nothing would fall out of it. "Ok let's go."

Blackpaw watched her take the Nightshade. "If Nightshade is bad, why take it with us?" He mumbled though the herbs.
