rimskur Alrighty, here we are!

message 2: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Okay, so do we need to go more into detail about the twins?

message 3: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Should we ever have all four of them run into one another? And I guess that I can just tweak up my previous profiles for the two.

message 4: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Lol, this is reminding me of that Disney movie Princess Protection Program xD So, we can start at that point?

Alright, that's completely fine! Get some rest and feel better <3

message 5: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Or that works too lol xD Aurelia could be having a meeting with her betrothed or something (ooh, someone who could totally be involved in the assassination) and Leo and Grace could get the assignment. Oh, maybe Grace gets injured on this assignment? Therefore, Leo gets all concerned and tries to make things up to her.

I'll try to have mine up soon as well!

message 6: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Yeah, sure lol xD
Okay sounds good!! So, Grace and agent Leo would be there already just for security measures or something? And adventurer Leo I guess isn't in this part. The fiance could perhaps try and reach out to her at some point way later on telling her its safe to come back to her kingdom or whatever and it could erupt in chaos.

❝p e r s o n a l i n f o r m a t i o n❞
Aurelia is an excellent friend because of her encouraging, positive nature and her kind heart that will do anything to make sure any of her friends are happy. She does not expect favors in return—her kindness is selfless. Never interfering with other people’s plans and lives, she is never possessive or jealous. She treats others the way they want to be treated and lives life based on a “live and let live” policy, making her such an agreeable character. She is an excellent conversationalists with a good sense of humor. Sometimes her humor is the raw truth, but more often than not she speaks her mind and doesn't hold anything back. What she says is what she means. It is fact that she does not like mind games as it holds her back from trying to figure out what is meant. She likes straightforwardness and expects it in return. She is known for saying the “painful truth”, but on the other hand, people know that they can trust what she says because she always say what is real. Aurelia never hides anything and is a very likeable person. The only people that might not get along with her are people that live by a daily agenda with a highly structured, organized life. On most occasions, she is likely to always be running late and miss a date, but this is only because she is so forward thinking that she forgot about the present. Tolerance is required as Aurelia does not do these things on purpose but rather this is just who she is.

Being the second child of the Aeterna king, Aurelia understands luxuries and how significant of a role she plays at her court. Acknowledging that she has such power, she never takes advantage of what she has in a negative manner, though she is not prone to wondering what she may be able to accomplish that the ordinary person could not without the resources she has in her possession. Family life for Aurelia is tentative at best ever since the passing of her elder brother. As the blame had been transferred to neighboring rivals, her father has grown full of grief and anger. Their relationship has not quite been the same before her brother has passed away. Noting that she isn't quite treated in the same manner in her own home most of the time anymore as the next heir to the throne, Aurelia spends most of her time out on the borders of the Izaethiel court domain, surveying and memorizing the territory among other activities.

message 8: by rimskur (new)

rimskur I'm sure! It's a good idea lol xD
Yup, all hell will break loose. How would Grace get injured in it? Maybe getting shot at?
Hah, I kinda want the betrothed dude to be innocently participating in it all, but eh, either works out for me.

message 9: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Okay, so after getting Aurelia and dropping her off with adventurer Leo, agent Leo and Grace are back at HQ getting her fixed up. He'd probably end up getting drunk in the process. What are we going to have the two of them do? Just have him visit her a lot, argue and stuff?
Ooh, he and Aurelia could actually be a bit serious (or on her part), so like innocent puppy love, but it's completely wrong and she sees it when she meets adventurer Leo.

message 10: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Yeah, he's gonna have issues with the whole compulsive drinking habits xD maybe he could get suspended or something because he wasn't completely sober during the mission and he had had several warnings before. Awh Aurelia and adventurer Leo are going to be so cute. I'll try to get agent Leo's profile up today.

message 11: by rimskur (new)

rimskur It's going to be so much fun. Agent Leo could hang around just in spite of Grace and bother her because he's been suspended. And maybe the only reason he really starts to hang around her is because she is vital to getting him back off suspension? Like its her word that could save him or get him fired.
Ooh, I still have to fix up Leo. I'll try to get that but I have a couple things to do today as well.

message 12: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Awh and he's probably going to actually like he by that point and there would be so much conflict when he finds out that he transferred. And I could see him getting stuck with a crap partner and he could get into real trouble when he goes on his first mission after suspension.

That's good! I'm about to get off after I finish another response.

message 13: by rimskur (new)

rimskur Ahh, I think I'm going to binge watch my shows since it's like the first opportunity I've had in a while lol xD

Born into a family living in the suburbs, Wesley wasn't very focused on anything other than football and video games. He spent most of his days locked up in his bedroom, yelling into a mic that connected him to other boys doing the exact same thing in their own homes. They would play the latest technology, most accustomed to playing the video games that focused purely on violence. Whether they were killing zombies and aliens or overthrowing a corrupt government, Wesley had a hypothetical gun in his hands, blowing heads off and spilling guts out of gruesomely graphic bodies. He wasn't fazed. Influenced by this violence, he was not only affected as a child, but grew into thinking it was normal as an adult. Known generally as an intimidating man, Wesley only grew into the persona, instead with a silver flask clearly accustomed to attaching to his lips whenever he didn't approve of something. He acquired that little best friend through his father, leaving his childhood home light with clothing, but heavy with alcohol. Perhaps if he really was a lawyer like he said he was instead of an agent of Steel, he would be able to get away with his drinking habits with far more ease. But, alas, he did work for Steel, where his attention and sobriety was demanded at the soonest opportunity.

rimskur Let's do two since we are doing doubles. I'll have it up in the next hour.

message 21: by rimskur (new)

rimskur We are starting at the whole assassination attempt, right? Like, it's a practice dinner thing or something and agent Leo and Grace are in the crowd and Aurelia is on stage or something.

message 22: by rimskur (last edited Dec 05, 2015 12:13PM) (new)

rimskur The day was proceeding slowly. Aurelia could not imagine how much longer the speeches would go on. Surely, there must be a point in which the Minister of Foreign Affairs would end his ramblings behind the podium, altering his words and tripping over the lines he had previously rehearsed. Alas, there was no way out of her attendance at the event, which was only the precursor to the same event only a week later in front of a much larger crowd. She would be hearing the same speeches and seeing the same people. Interactions would continue to bore her, instead wishing to return back inside of the Aeternian palace. Stroking the silky material of her heavy dress, she stared up at the small crowd of men and women seated at tables set up around the gardens. Many of them were familiar, though some among them she had never met before. Giving a final sigh, Aurelia boredly leaned her head on her hand, placing her elbow on the table in what could be made out to be a unmannerly position for a princess.

A sharp inhalation alerted the sudden awareness of the young agent as he opened his eyes again. It appeared he had dozed off for a few minutes, yet had not been prodded by his partner to wake. Wesley rubbed his eyes slightly, brushing the bronze strands of hair away from his face. He was tired from the flight, tired of watching the young girl on the stage for the past few days. She was fine so far, and it didn't appear to him that she would be in any danger while they were there. He didn't sign up to be a bodyguard for a princess. Leaning back in the white chairs, Wesley reached into the inside pocket of his suit jacket, slipping out a small silver flask. Its contents immediately wet his tongue when he pressed the opening to his mouth, taking a quick sip of the whiskey inside. He was far past hiding the small drinks from his partner, instead becoming far more open. "She looks more bored than I am," he commented in a low, disgruntled voice, slouching his shoulders and tucking his legs out before him.

rimskur It was starting to get hot in the outdoor staged area. Somehow, the workers in the palace had labored hard enough to set a large stage up in the gardens. White tables with fancy table clothes lined the grass before her and similar white chairs were filled with different politicians and important assistants to the Aeternian government. Aurelia had no interest in pleasing them at the moment, but according to her tutor, she was to stay in her seat on the stage for the remainder of the event. From her estimate, she still had another hour and a half before all of the different ministers finished with their speeches and followed through with the planned dinner and party. Of course, these type of events could be fun if there were any really interesting people present. However, unfortunately for her, the type of people she wished to surround herself were never present at such boring events. Even her best friend decided to stop attending such events with her. Displeased, Aurelia had come to this rehearsal dinner in her elaborate getup alone. Forcing a smile onto her pink lips, she turned her gaze to the audience, complacently drifting across the gloved waiters lining the side of the garden with the large greenery.

Adjusting the collar of his disgruntled shirt, he felt the heat of the area reaching him. Perhaps it was just him that was feeling warmer. The top button of his shirt had popped up and he had purposely neglected the use of a tie despite MacTavish's continuous encouragement of it. But, he was used to brushing her off on their latest assignments. "You wouldn't dare," Wesley scoffed, sitting up in his seat after accidentally leaning far too forward in his position. With a roll of his eyes, he followed her gaze to a waiter in their vicinity. "Maybe he's just particularly interested in Verona's plea for cheaper tariffs," he rattled off, naming the last piece of information he had heard the Foreign Affair Minister preach about. Unfortunately for him, the older man had spoken about the nearby kingdom's economic interest several minutes before. "So, you think it's an inside job, then?" he asked simply, furrowing his eyebrows as he prepared himself to move at the shortest notice. Despite his indecencies before, Wesley could take his job seriously. Like it or not, he did have an assignment to fulfill at that moment. Any further drinks would have to wait until after the little princess was deemed safe from whatever threat her parents had claimed there was surrounding their only heir.

message 24: by rimskur (new)

rimskur She may not even know all of the staff that had been assigned to the cater and work this event, but she certainly recalled the uniform given to each of the waiters for the purpose of appearing like a decent team serving their superiors. She noted that a large group of waiters posed with straight backs and held a silver dish with long flutes of champagne on top, preparing to swarm around the tables and offer customary drinks to the important men and women present. It was a means to keep the audience invested in the speeches, very unlike how she was at the moment. After all, a bit of alcohol was the way to making a nice camaraderie between people. They were all dressed neatly in pressed black pants and ironed white shirts. On top of their shirts, they sported a light maroon colored vest to match the colors of the Belmonte royal family. The rare shade was an inclination of the royal family's coat of arms colors, so when she noted a young man watching her from the other side of the venue, she immediately took notice. It was her first assumption that it was an innocent stare of awe. He was merely impressed by the vision of a princess in his vicinity. However, the small differences in his attire compared to the rest of the waiters encouraged apprehension in her. The moment couldn't have been worse as just then, she was called to the podium by the current speaker, encouraged to make her remarks in agreement with his ideas.

Glaring at his partner, Wesley begrudgingly listened to her perspective of the situation at hand. Perhaps if he had been a bit more attentive earlier on, he would have noticed what Lucia pointed out to him. His lack of focus lately was costing him little details like so, far to distracted by things that were incorrigible to what was important. "It could just be the light," he scoffed, though he could agree exactly with what she was saying as his eyes briefly narrowed onto the lone waiter. "Well, he can't exactly be working alone, then. He needs some help. The princess has her security detail present..." Wesley watched her as she fiddled with the light fabric in his pocket, relaxing his shoulders lightly while returning his gaze to the crowd of people around him. "It's possible that some of her guards are in on it. It would be much easier to take her if they knew her schedule and exactly where to take her in case of an emergency," Wesley noted further. If Lucia was right about what was happening up ahead, the two of them needed to be prepared to intervene with the princess and take her somewhere safe, outside of Aeterna.

message 25: by rimskur (new)

rimskur ((Let's have him be one of the assassins.))

message 26: by rimskur (new)

rimskur The urge to call out for the men on her security detail had grown significantly. Aurelia didn't know exactly what to do even with all the precautionary lessons she had taken in case something like this were to ever happen. She knew that it was always a possibility that she may fall under the wrath of politically inclined men and power hungry savages. They wanted her gone and out of the way so that they may seize the great power she had once her father abdicated his throne to her. She was his one and only heir, therefore, she was the most important piece to the future of Aeterna. The people that wanted her kingdom only needed to get through her to swipe through the monarchy and force whatever dictatorship they wished over her people. A worrisome expression lifted to her features as she hesitantly moved forward on the stage, approaching the podium. Unfortunately for her, everything turned to hell as soon as her pale fingers touched the wood of the podium. Her mouth opened in a silent scream as the curtain behind her spread wide open and two men split out, issuing their weapons on the important figures before her. The first man aimed his gun, screaming in a foreign language as several below at the tables ducked down in fear. The other man snatched her from the podium, roughly taking her by the arms and forcing her into his tight hold.

He was unprepared for the attack, to say in the least. He never liked to immediately jump into action and for him, it was easier to do missions in which he could use a long range weapon, gunning down people from a high position instead of running head first into open fire. This mission was possibly a suicide mission for him and Lucia as there was no possible way that just the two of them could fend off the traitors among the princess's ranks. They would have a difficult time enough trying to get away from those that wished to harm their object of interest. The moment was too quick and as soon as Lucia seemed to fling herself from their table, moving towards the stage, Wesley slipped a sleek hand gun from the back of his trousers, aiming at the man on the stage. The bullets sprang free from safety, first hitting the curtains and then impacting the man's right shoulder violently. The gun man buckled slightly, struggling to hold his gun up without his valuable hand being able to lift with the wound. Not hesitating, he fired again, knocking the man down with another wound. With hardly any time to waste, he quickly noted the others in the crowd that acted against the princess, firing his weapon at whomever appeared to be the enemy.

message 27: by rimskur (new)

rimskur A silent scream slipped from her lips, muted with terror. She didn't know what to do anymore, finding herself unable to reach the part of her that had been trained to act and think fast in these types of scenarios. Aurelia wasn't the most activest person and noting her position at the moment, she certainly would have difficulty getting away unharmed. She struggled futily against her captor, desperately pushing her hands at his gloved hands and covered arms. His hold was far too tight on her and once the feeling of the cold gun touched her temple, she whimpered slightly, crying silently in fear of her life. Her struggling persisted however when another figure approached the two of them, threatening the man that held her captive. Skeptical as she was of the woman's intentions, Aurelia also felt a certain level of trust for the very action of saving her from her captor. Another gun shot later and the man that had been harassing her had fallen dead on the stage. "You just killed him," she breathed with the utmost concern, as if the man that had been shot not only was just encouraging her death, but hadn't deserved a bullet in his head. Tripping over her heavy skirts, Aurelia wiped her face hastily, moving towards the other woman. "Where - where are we going?" she asked a moment after, ducking down behind the broken podium.

There were several others in the crowd that seemed to act against their princess. He recalled reading in some brochure on the plane over to Aeterna about the country's great concern for loyalty and bravery. A small smirk lifted to his lips as he shot down another intruder. Some loyalists they were. As he ducked behind a fallen table as some guests screamed, running in the opposite direction. Pressing his face against the table briefly, he noted the fallen form of an important Aeternian politician on the red stained grass. He winced as another man was shot in the shoulder, falling to ground. Some palace guards and the princess's security detail made their appearance, displaying their weapons before them to protect their royalty. Wesley took their entry as the opportunity to sprint forward, searching for Lucia and the princess they were to be protecting. As he approached the stage, another traitor stopped him in his tracks. Wesley pulled his gun before him, prepared to shoot him when he realized his gun was out of bullets. Impulsively, he knocked the metal of the gun hard against the man's head, using his limbs as a harsh force against the intruder. A moment later, the man groaned on the grass. Smirking, he proceeded ahead, ducking behind another table next to the stage. "MacTavish!" he shouted her name, spotting her crouching down next to the fallen podium with the princess ready next to her.

message 28: by rimskur (new)

rimskur She was terrified for her life. These men were after her for a reason that she could not even control. If anything were a serious explanation of what was fair in life, it would not be this. Aurelia cowered behind the podium, squeezing her eyes shut in panic when she heard the close sound of gunfire. Her ears popped violently from the loud sound, holding her arms and hands closer to her face. Her eyes widened when the woman that had been helping her left her side for what she believed would only be two minutes. Too frightened to object and disobey what she had been told, Aurelia pressed herself again the podium, searching the scene before her for anyone she actually knew and trusted. Oh, how relieved she was now that no one she held close to her heart had attended the event. Everyone in attendance were merely political partners. That, of course, did not render their lives insignificant in the manner of an attack. She nearly screamed out when popping noises hit the front of the podium and stage around her, either flying off in other directions or directly impacting the material. She sniffled quietly to herself, holding her skirts tightly in her hands. Another sound almost left her throat when the woman returned, a bit of blood touching the pale skin of her face. Breathing with fear, she merely nodded her head, gathering her heavy skirts in her hands, moving with this agent and her partner, keeping up as best as she could.

He crouched down momentarily, surveying the mess before him. Some people had been shot down in awkward places, pressed to the ground with their wounds and unable to get up again. They were unlikely to get any help, however, until later when the attackers made their way away from the garden. He was sure with how attached they were to their mission of assassinating an innocent princess that it was unlikely that the men and women that staged this plot would leave behind witnesses at the scene. He knew from their briefing that the enemy of the Aeternian royal family would be merciless with the heir in their possession, therefore it was vital for him and MacTavish to make sure that she was safe and hidden from her attackers. He moved closer to the stage, trying to create movements specifically when the open fire faced away from his direction. He stumbled a moment, ducking behind the cement stairs, wincing as bullets fired into the material only inches away from his face. Struggling to his feet, he joined the princess by the podium, breathing in tune to his racing heart beat. "Come on, we need to go," he demanded, tapping at a couple buttons on his watch. If the message went through, a helicopter should be waiting for them just on the left side of the castle, not too far. Urging Aurelia forward with a light pressure on her back, he led the two women away from the stage.
