In futuristic North America, the world is overrun with an infection. It started in just a small part of America, before with time, the disease spread across the entire continent. The infection turns a person into a zombie-like creature- we call them clickers. Not all of us have given up hope. A group calling themselves the Fireflies are still out there, looking for a cure. They are always being attacked by soldiers and other government authorities. Many people disagree with the views of the militia groups. Some areas have been sealed off by the government as quarantine zones. Many children are raised here, and taught to fight the fireflies and grow up to help the soldiers. The currency now, is in ration cards. People trade, sell, and barter for these. There are ration card stands around every city- there to provide food,water, clothing, and medicine. However, they aren't always open, as stock isn't easy to find. Will you travel in a group? Work together as a team? Go solo? Will you survive? The roleplay takes part in California, a large state that has some of the most severely infected areas, and strongest firefly and military groups.
