Hey! So what would you like to do?

I like a lot of things to be honest! Do you realistic or fantasy, contemporary or historical, or?

More realistic roleplays are my thing and I'm already doing a historical one. Maybe we can look around for some ideas?

I'm up for doing a realistic one. So modern time, yeah? And sure, sounds good to me! I'll look for some.

Okay, okay. I'm going to start looking for one now too! I'm thinking something more young adult related like college, even high school.

Same here! Okay I came up with only this so far but let me know what you think. We could do this or mess around with it and change it up or do something else entirely, I have other ideas too that I'm too lazy to write up xD

(view spoiler)[[A] and [B] have been neighbors since they were children, with their houses facing away from each other and the back fence of their backyard shared. They became fast friends the day [B] moved to town when both were six years old, always cooking up trouble together, so close you rarely saw one without the other. But things change, and when in the summer before sophomore year [A] stumbles over the secret [B] has carefully hidden for years, the ensuing blowout fight shatters their friendship.

It's been almost two years now, and [A] and [B] are as good as strangers to each other. While [B] has developed a bit of a reputation for being wild reckless, to the extent that everyone is half-expecting her to careen right off the rails, [A] keeps his grades up and his nose clean. The most interaction they have is perhaps a second too long of eye contact in the school halls, but when at first [A] tried to mend fences with [B], she pushed him away. Eventually, he let her go.

Then she turns up one night in the summer before their senior year at his bedroom window, unmistakeable handprint bruises circling her neck, and demands that he decide then and there: will he play it safe like he always has and stay, or will he take a chance and run away with her?

Awh, that's a good idea! I still have to look for some if you think we should do another one, but I think this one would be nice. I'm kind of iffy about it, like I might want to try some other things, but I do like this one.

(view spoiler)[Muse A and Muse B are long-time friends who’ve held onto an unexpressed attraction to one another for many years. For one reason or another the two of them just never attempted to date, despite their obvious flirting, teasing touches and playful, lingering kisses goodbye. When Muse B, the shier of the two, expresses interest in someone else, a freshly single Muse A finally chooses to tell Muse B how they feel. Muse B happily starts dating Muse A, who they’ve really wanted to be with this whole time. The relationship between them is great for the first few weeks. It’s like nothing has changed, except for the fact that they kiss and fool around and are openly romantic without having to worry about what the gestures mean. Just as things are getting serious between them, Muse B catches Muse A sending sexy texts to someone else. They’re really disappointed, but are consoled by a fast-talking Muse A who promises that it didn’t mean anything and it won’t happen again. Muse B forgives Muse A and they move forward, eventually moving in together. Living together, turns out to be a big mistake, as everything one of them does seems to annoy the other in some way. Despite sharing a place, Muse B starts to see less and less of Muse A and it makes them suspicious that Muse A might be cheating again. When Muse B musters the nerve to confront Muse A about their fears, Muse A confesses that they have been spending time with someone on the side, but it’s not because they don’t want to be with Muse B; Muse A simply states that they’d like to pursue an open relationship, in which they can both see other people as long as they don’t bring them back to their home. Muse B takes some time to think it over, only agreeing because they care about Muse A and hope that it’s just a phase or a rough patch for them to get over. Muse A openly starts hanging out with someone else while Muse B worries that Muse A will leave them. Muse B isn’t the type of person to cheat, even if it’s permitted and it devastates them that Muse A doesn’t seem to think that their relationship is good enough with just the two of them. (view spoiler)[Muse A has been dating Muse B for a few weeks. They have a lot of things in common and the physical attraction that drew them to one another initially is obvious. It isn’t long before an infatuated Muse B takes Muse A home to meet their family, which apparently only consists of their older sibling, Muse C. Muse B and Muse C are super close, on account of their parents passing away when just after Muse C’s 18th birthday. Rather than letting their sibling become ward of the state, Muse C took over guardianship of their younger sibling and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Muse B knows that Muse A must meet Muse C’s approval before they get any more serious with their relationship. When Muse A and Muse C meet, it’s a bit tense. Muse C wants to make sure Muse A is going to treat their younger sibling right. Despite a few uneasy minutes of grilling, Muse C seems to approve. Everyone breathes easier. Over time, Muse C and Muse A form a bond, even hanging out when Muse B isn’t around. Eventually, Muse C lets it slip that they are attracted to Muse A and though surprised, Muse A can’t help but give in to temptation. Despite the clear potential of hurting Muse B, who’s dear to both Muse A and Muse C, the pair fool around behind Muse B’s back unable to deny their own chemistry. (hide spoiler)]

school :
(view spoiler)[Disciplinary schools. These are done quite a bit, however, hardly ever successfully. I would love a re-vamp, one that had interesting characters. The ones I see seem to be that all the girls are in there only because they’re promiscuous and the boys are all druggies. How about some actual criminals and trouble makers? A burgler, attempted murder, running away, teen sexual predator, you know, things like that.
A charm school that is actually a grooming ground for human trafficking.
A school where heads of companies would nominate exceptional teens to become their heirs and they would go to the school to learn how, it would probably include charm school type classes in etiquette, etc. as well. (hide spoiler)]

Oh my god I love where you're going with the last one. I was actually going to suggest something similar, with underage criminals who are actually dangerous. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by charm school though...do you mean the kids would have some sort of magical capabilities?

Charm school as it teaches etiquette, formal stuff and all. There are actually three separate ideas for the last one, but they can be combined. So, it could be a disciplinary school where people from all different classes and backgrounds go to. So there could be a sexual abuser there as well as the son of a rich aristocrat. Unless you wanted it to be a magical thing? I guess that could work too.

Nah, keeping it realistic is fine with me. And okay, that clears things up lol...I like the idea of setting it in a disciplinary school best, I think. So are we decided then, or would you rather do one of the others, or search for more ideas?

It's up to you! I like the disciplinary school thing and your previous idea. I feel like with this we could do singles or doubles really. I would actually be fine with either in this plot.

Okay, I flipped a coin and got the disciplinary school one. Km thinking that would be easy doubles. Like we can have a series of different type of people. One could be like a huge hacker, another could have been an attempted murderer, another could be a thief, and the other could be an innocent charged for another crime.

sounds good to me! i like all of those ideas. ooh we should have a girl master hacker, because i feel like people tend to make hacker characters boys idk. aaand yes for sure a thief! a thief who's excellent at thieving and just getting in trouble in general. the innocent one should be an excellent and charming compulsive liar who sucks at explaining his/her innocence. for the attempted murderer there are just so many awesome things we could do, with backstory and everything.

Okay, I'm leaning towards having the murderer. Like that is one of my ultimate favorite thing to play. Out of the rest, you can choose which of the two you want and I can have the last one. (Although i do like the idea of the thief lol xD) also who would go together. Ooh, I think the innocent and the murderer would be a funny pairing as would the thief and the hacker. But it's ultimately up to who you want to play.

Haha sure go for it! I'd actually really like to play the innocent compulsive liar though, so I'll take them and the hacker and you can play the thief and the murderer. the innocent and the murderer should totally be a pairing, its just too good of an opportunity to pass up xD. thief and the hacker would make succchhh a diabolical team though omg!
aaand genders then: if we're going with the hacker girl then the thief's a guy and the murderer a girl and the innocent a guy, yeah? i'm honestly fine with whichever you prefer but I do think making the girl the murderer and the guy the fast-talking innocent one would make for a nice twist.

Oh my god it would be so funny lol xD I love it. Okay, apni get murderer and thief and you get innocent liar and hacker. I would love to make more conflict and have triangles/squares lol xD I know they are so cliche and are ruined, but I would love to try and have a successful one. Maybe interconnecting the four characters so that the pairings get messy because of other people?
Ah that sounds good to me. I was thinking of using a young Leonardo DiCaprio or someone else. And then for my girl, I was thinking of using Barbara Palvin or Magdalena Zalejska

More conflict is always good lmao XD I feel like we should make simple character sheets before we plan out the complexities, what say you? I vote for magdalena zalejska but its your call obviously :)
i haven't decided on any face claims yet but I'm considering Cara Delevingne for my girl just because eyebrows on point man

Yes simple profiles would help me a lot. It would be stressful and time consuming to make the perfect profile lol xD I think I'll use Magdalena because no one would expect her to be a murderer (even attempted) and then Leo would be a dashing thief haha :) I love Cara she's so pretty!!

Awesome! Sooo planning out the plot now...do we want any of them to have prior connections with each other? Maybe cousins (first or distant), or roommates, or something?

Okay, okay. Maybe Helena and Katerina could be roommates at the school and Wesley and William are either distant cousins or lol maybe we could actually make them brothers?? I don't know, I just thought that would be cool if the older brother was the thief and the younger one ended up being a babbling liar.

Helena and Katarina should totally be roommates. Maybe the way it's set up in the school is that because a lot of these kids are legit dangerous, its like two tiny rooms that share a common room and a bathroom? Or do you think it would be more fun if they were forced to share close quarters? Should they be friends, kind-of-friends, or indifferent, or maybe they dislike each other at first?
I feel like it would be really fun making Wesley and William (I think I'm going to have him hate his first name and go by Blake) be brothers. I love sibling relationships they're the best.

I like it. We could have it either way. I think though if they were in close quarters, sometimes the roommate's life could be in danger. But, I suppose they do that regardless. We could have them in the same room with a shared bathroom. I think Helena would totally be pissy with her and try to be all loner but Katerina would try and befriend her. And then maybe after something happens at the school (Helena could get into deep shit and Katerina covers for her), she starts to appreciate her a bit more?

Okay, okay. I'll change Wesley's last name to Argent. Perhaps we have it that Wesley kind of disappeared a lot when they were younger and got into stealing stuff. The two brothers were close but Wesley never told him, ended up getting caught at some huge burglary at like a lab for drugs or like at some big important place and he's been confined at the school. And then their parents never tell William/Blake until he somehow gets into trouble and ends up there as well and they run into each other.

Yeah let's just have them have to share a room, otherwise they'll both want to retreat into their individual rooms and stay away from each other lol. I'm not sure Katarina would try to befriend her exactly but she'd want to figure her out really intensely like a math problem and I can totally see that annoying Helena and Kat not getting discouraged whatsoever. Dude yes that needs to happen.

Yess and like Blake could've learned from Wesley how to con people, but of course he brings his own charm to that scene and becomes really good at it. Maybe Blake always wanted to tag along with Wesley back when they're kind of younger (maybe ten & eleven, or even younger?) on like kid trouble, and slowly Wesley starts getting involved in more dangerous and criminal stuff as they get older and he only lets Blake in on a fraction of it and gets arrested when they're fourteen & fifteen ish. Maybe the parents hide everything from
Blake but he knows something really serious is up and ends up going off the rails a bit and changes a lot. Like I'm envisioning him as a reckless wild card type of person who's run away from home a bunch of times in the recent years and caused a lot of problems in general, and he's extremely distrusting of everything and everyone now. And Wesley would still remember him as the mischievous but sweet kid he used to be and wonder what happened to change him.

Ooh, I feel like at a disciplinary school like this, it is almost necessary for there to be some huge conflict concerning their convicts ahem students. So, I feel like someone should die. There's a murder and while there are several murderers at the school, perhaps there is sufficient enough evidence that it was one of the four that did it. And maybe since Helena is an actual murderer, she's been framed for it. And so, when the time came, Kat could have covered for her to the teachers when they asked her where Helena was the night it happened, though she doesn't really know where she was. So, it could be a huge murder mystery thing too lol xD

Oh, yeah definitely! Like as kids they would always have all these tricks they would play on their neighbors and on kids at school. So, perhaps...Wesley could have gotten into a bad crowd at school, started to neglect Blake a bit and gotten into deep shit. Blake notices it earlier on and Wesley submits and lets him participate a bit. And then yeah, when he gets arrested, his parents could have told Blake that Wesley was sent away to live with their grandparents across the country or something. And so, maybe they haven't seen each other for like three years and in that time since Wesley had been arrested, Blake did a bunch of shit that got him arrested. But, what exactly is it that he is innocent of that he ended up lying about? Maybe it involved someone he was protecting or something.

Brilliantt. Ooh Kat would kind of think Helena did actually do it but she feels like Helena's not a danger to her and figures she had her reasons or whatever. She's not exactly conscientious, so she would be cool with covering for someone she thinks is a murderer if she feels it suits her purposes. And yes then it would be a sort of murder mystery cause then they need to find out who the actual murderer is and they're working together on it and end up becoming friends in the process without intending to lol.

I feel like yeah, he should be either covering for someone else, or maybe he's been trying to dig up info about Wesley and figures out bits and pieces and stumbles across something really big that Wesley was doing before he got sent to this disciplinary school, and confronts his parents about it demanding the truth and because the cops/FBi (depending on how grand scale Wesley's crimes were) have been watching them the parents turn the info right on in. Wesley could be on, like probation, if he screws up he's going straight to prison forever (or like years and years) cause he's an adult now, and so Blake lies and says it was him. But Wesley wouldn't know all this has happened, and drama et cetera.

Okay idea, what if the actual murderer who framed Helena is somehow Blake?

I feel like perhaps if there was a murder, Helena would get to that pissy crazed state that made her murder someone in the first place. I could totally see her try to and strangle someone in order to try and get some information out of them. Or maybe she does actually end up killing someone eventually. Or or or...there is some betrayal thing between Kat and Helena at some point and they kind cat fight with each other too lol xD

I kind of want Wesley's crimes to be a big thing. Like, he breaks into a huge important government facility or something. Or he's a part of some group that tries to oust all of the corruption in a government by hacking information and etc? Since he's not a hacker, I could see him being one of the people that has to take action, break into a place, steal files and junk. And perhaps he gets caught in something like that? Or there could have been a huge project he was working on that he wasn't able to complete.

Ahhh, that's certainly terrifying. How would that work? Like, he purposely framed her specifically or she was a random choice? And why would he kill someone?

Hahah omg it would be so intense because Helena's this adorable girl but everyone knows she's capable of murder so it would be terrifying for the poor victim she's chosen to threaten, and Kat would just very clinically be like weighing the pros and cons of stopping Helena or letting her just kill the guy.

Oh! Maybe he's part of a plan to assassinate some important but corrupt official and it's his job to help set up the plan by stealing info like files and shit and he gets caught? And maybe there's also another huge project he's working on, except on his own, and that's what Blake stumbles on and takes the blame for?

I think she'd be a random choice out of the few murderers in the school, and I'm not quite sure why he'd kill someone. He is definitely not a killer by nature...maybe it was self-defense of some kind? It could have to do with whatever he'd found out about the shit Wesley was involved in and there's people who don't want him talking, or maybe conversely people who don't want Blake spilling some info he now has to Wesley, so they send someone after him and he accidentally kills them.

I know she's such a cutie and it feel so wrong to name her as the murderer, but it also makes it all the more better. I'm thinking that she killed a family member or an abusive boyfriend. Something that could have purely started off as self defense, but she was vindictive about some abuse that anytime a person did a certain thing (like something familiar to previous abuse she had) she was mentally convinced that they had to die. It would be so fun to play Helena and Kat together lol! Kat could be making comments from behind like asking her how exactly is the best position to strangle someone or how exactly he still is breathing and strange questions like that.

Ahh, that works!! It could be like a big dude in the political world that was working towards a great political position like senator or maybe a UN position but they were actually really corrupt. And though he isn't a killer, he was getting a bit power hungry himself and wanted a bigger role. So his separate plot could be to further expose others and take credit for it? Maybe he tries for someone even superior to the original?

Oooh, that makes sense. It could be like a personal police to the person that Wesley had originally planned to go after. And then Blake ends up doing it and taking the blame for it. Haha shit is going to go down whenever Helena and Blake get together and she finds out what he did. I guess that when he originally framed her, it only began to pile further when the school finds out about it. And the person that he kills could have been hired by someone at the school!!!

So it's like every time someone does something that brings back a memory of the abuse she kind of equates that person to the one she killed? And omg it will be, they'll make such an awesome pair girl power ftw you hear me And Katarina would like silently be picking up everything Helena's doing and cataloging it away in her wicked smart brain and then maybe they're in a confrontation or something and Kat knocks someone out or something and Helena's like, "Where the hell did you learn that?" And Kat would just shrug and be like "From you?"

Yes yes perfect! maybe Wesley is recruited by a group who's only pretending to be the good guys but in reality they're just as bad if not worse than the guy they want Wesley's help to take out, and maybe he figures that out and is working on unearthing their dirt to expose them, except it's all really incriminating because he's so involved with all of it now, and then he's forced to come to this disciplinary school right in the middle and only able to do a rough job of covering his tracks, if at all, maybe via friends or something. So Blake picks up on them and ends up taking the fall for it because of their stupid parents.

So then the group Wesley was working with and planning to double cross could be the ones who send an assassin after Blake to hush him before he busts everything and Blake kills him and devises an elaborate setup to frame Helena, and Wesley is not in on any of this since he's been shut up in the school for like, the past few years while his little brother's been wreaking havoc XD Ikk I feel like this is going to be so complex and intense! The assassin/dead guy should totally have been hired by someone at the school who's been assigned there to watch Wesley omg to make sure Wesley doesn't spill anything. Maybe the guy was planning to kill both brothers that night but then obviously that doesn't happen because Blake ends up killing him.
Blake would be internally panicking the whole time hahaha especially once he and Helena get a little closer. Maybe Kat cracks the mystery just a bit and starts suspecting Blake, but she keeps the info to herself and then somehow eventually Helena finds out and it's like a betrayal to her from both sides.

Also do you think it would be better if Blake was sixteen, to go with the brothers' back stories? I feel like a larger age difference would reinforce all of Wesley's reasons to want to keep his little brother out of the mess, and I feel like Blake should have kind of hero worshipped his brother especially when they were little.

I'm thinking it's something like that or she's a bit mentally ill and is sadistic and just likes killing people. But, then again, I don't want her to really be that way. A bit humane still, I suppose. I'm going to keep brainstorming stuff about why she may further kill people. Maybe she just likes it and finds it easy to put down people like that. They are going to be the best pair ever!! I love it. The two of them should be like crime fighting serial killers lol xD

Oh, I like that. It would totally work with the whole assassin. And maybe when the murder has been done, Wesley approaches Blake about it all, though he doesn't know it was him. Unless...maybe Wesley helps him cover up the death and ends up framing Helena. I kind of want there to be some type of relationship between Wesley and Helena already. I don't know what, but I wanted them to be more than just random strangers at the same school so that all of it would be a little more personal. Ooh, the two of them could definitely be like friends with benefits lol xD so that things would be screwy later on whenever Helena gets closer with Blake and Wesley gets closer with Kat. I could definitely see Kat catching Wesley in the act of trying to cover up stuff for Blake or researching his project in secret and he ends up having to like stuff her in a closet. And then maybe they can let each other in on what's happening and their little foursome can form.

I think an age gap would really help actually. Should I make Helena younger too then? I feel like having her 17 would also be good though too. Like, it's a good age for her to run away from home, mess her life up and stuff.

I definitely think it would be better if she was more humane still despite being a murderer, like she's got to be redeemable y'know? Your character, your call, though ^^ hahah they totally should be! They'll sow terror in the hearts of their enemies I tell you, the adorable and slightly bitchy murderess and the short smartass criminal mastermind

Dude yes to all of that. XD Wesley and Helena should totally have some sort of sporadic friends with benefits thing going on, that would make everything super complicated and epic. And that way we'd kind of have a kind of love triangle/square mishmash that we were going for without any sort of melodramatic twilight-esque ridiculousness lol.

Nah I think Helena being 17 works fine, it only means a year age gap between Blake and Helena and also makes sense cause I think usually same-aged students are roommates, so her and Kat probably need to be the same age. I'll make Blake 16 though.

Okay, I think I'm going to stay with the abuse thing. Or like she was sexually abused by her father or her uncle or someone and every time she hears someone who sounds like them or someone who looks like them, talks like them, she feels that rage she felt when she killed her father/uncle. Or, maybe she kills men/women who decide its okay to have such power over people. So, like when they track down someone who could explain something about the framing, the person is being cocky as hell and tries to act superior, she gets angry and pins him to a wall and starts to strangle him. Perhaps she just knocks him out instead of killing him because they are interrupted or something.

Okay, so they have a friends with benefits thing that could be happening before Blake even shows up at the school and maybe when she gets framed for it, she goes to Wesley to see if he has heard anything about it all and that's when she meets Blake? And it would sprout some guilt in him when he sees her. So, he would try to get closer to her just to see what she knows and make sure that the murder doesn't come back to him but then things start to change between the two of them. I love love triangles/squares lol xD

Sounds good to me! whatever it is that drives her, Kat will be on a mission to figure it out and when she does, she's going to be all like, go ahead and hit him good, he's a jerk, but maybe don't kill him cause who wants to take care of the bodies.

YEssss. and maybe Blake kind of thinks at first that Helena is Wesley's girlfriend and then he's like damn I implicated my brother's girl in a murder i committed this is terrible, even though he finds out almost right away after that that they're not dating. triangles/squares can be super fun but authors and screenwriters almost always destroy them for me :/

hahah i can see that happening dude! and blake might kind of be seen as a bit of a pretty boy tbh especially in this school of convicts juvenile delinquents and she's a hardened murderer according to everyone else sooo

and they should totally have this system at the school where new students that join in the middle of the year or something are like formally introduced to the whole school and the dean or whatever calls him up as William, and Wesley's not paying attention until Blake stands up and walks to the front or something.

Ah so like Kat will always be present when she gets out of control, kind of being her active conscious outside of her head. I think that would actually be helpful for her. It would be like having someone who actually cared in the first place around.

Hmm...I think that Helena wouldn't exactly act all relationship-y with Wesley, especially in public, but probably does end up feeling something for him. He'd be like her best friend in the end. So, like to feed it on, Blake could totally walk in on them having sex or some other intimate position. I don't like how books and movies make love triangles and squares, but I've always wanted to try and write one lol xD
