The Neverending Story!
It was a dark and stormy night; or at least it seemed that way...it's not often you experience a solar eclipse when it's raining.


The wind picked up, making the temperature drop even lower, and the howling continued, each howl louder than the last.

I should never have left the door to the conservatory unlocked, I thought in desperation as the howling grew louder.
I pulled my hood up over my head in hopes of protecting myself from getting sick in the dreary weather, but my hair was already drenched in the cold rain water.





The dog snapped it's teeth at me, growling and slowly moving forward and in the back of mind, I wished I carried a weapon with me, like a knife.

The dog growled loudly and lunged, just as I was pulling off my shoe and reaching for the inside of the shoe desperately.

I stood and fumbled for the weapon inside my shoe as the dog leaped at me again, wondering in the back of my mind what would happen.

I snapped out of my trance and screamed when I felt the dog bite my arm roughly and I stabbed the dog, not wanting to kill it, but wanting to get it off.
