2016 Choose Your Own Challenge Challenge discussion

This might be interesting. I read two about long hikes last year (Clara Hughes' and Wild) so a road trip would be an interesting follow up!

A book that I read and would recommend is Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall a very good book told from a young girls perspective. One that I am thinking about reading is Driving with the Top Down by Beth Harbison

Is anyone waffling on whether this has to be a driving road trip? I was thinking of it as that but then realized that it doesn't say that so maybe something like Wild could count...

I'll probably stick with the more traditional definition, as in by car, but I could see a book about cycling, marathons, etc. also working. Even The Road would fit (although, I was not a fan).

Hmmm I think I'll keep it open and see what comes up :)

Or if you wanna go more historical, horse-drawn carriage, Oregon Trail-type things would work, too.
