Sounds a good read...I don't do many mystery reads, but maybe I should start reading more.
Diane, this was such a super book. Not a 'murder' mystery, more of a certain kind of crime mystery and about the way people behave and why. I think it could be read and enjoyed by anyone to be honest.
Diane: That's right 1948. Seemed *old* and then I realised I was born only 5 years later! LOL!Bev: I'm becoming quite the fan.
Two more books under my belt for Mount TBR.2. Angel with Two Faces - Nicola Upson
3. Greece on My Wheels - Edward Enfield
My review of both books is here:
http://read-warbler.blogspot.co.uk/20...
Another good one---Angel With Two Faces. I've really enjoyed the Nicola Upson books I've read so far.
Although, I will say that if I have to choose, I'd rather read Tey's own books than the Upson books about her.

Thanks, Jessika. To be honest although I'm aiming for Mont Blanc, I'd really like to go higher and get even more off the tbr mountain.

I saw on your blog that you are reading Books to Die For - I read that a few years ago and thought it was good for figuring out what to avoid as much as what to read!
Hopefully, Leslie. :-)Yep, I've drifted to a halt with Books to Die For, but will get back to it soon. Quite agree about it being good for figuring out what *not* to read as well as what sounds good. LOL
