Back again for another year. 24 books worked for me last year so I'll go for that again and maybe hope to go further. We'll see. :-)

I love that book -- it is one of my favorite mysteries :)

Sounds a good read...I don't do many mystery reads, but maybe I should start reading more.

Diane, this was such a super book. Not a 'murder' mystery, more of a certain kind of crime mystery and about the way people behave and why. I think it could be read and enjoyed by anyone to be honest.

Just looked author up on Fantastic Fiction...goodness was written in 1948...!

I love Josephine Tey! Good book.

Diane: That's right 1948. Seemed *old* and then I realised I was born only 5 years later! LOL!

Bev: I'm becoming quite the fan.

Another good one---Angel With Two Faces. I've really enjoyed the Nicola Upson books I've read so far.

Although, I will say that if I have to choose, I'd rather read Tey's own books than the Upson books about her.
