The Reading Challenge Group discussion

In the tie-breaker, the options both tied again so we'll be reading both of them this month!

One of our final World Lit group reads for this year is Spring Snow by Yukio Mishima!

I've just started reading this, although I can't say anything yet, as I'm really at the beginning. It's my first book by Mishima and I'm glad to finally get to this author.
Is anyone else reading it?

Well, I'm ca. 30% into it and I'm not really liknig it. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just not to my taste. I'm sorry about that, as I was the one nominating this book.
I will let you know my impressions as I go on reading.

I just finished reading this, and it was a pain completing it. It is beautifully written, of course, but I couldn't care less for the characters, who are mostly (especially Kiyoaki) incredibly spoiled kids. Not my kind of book, really, and I'm sorry I nominated this myself.
