Hey guys! We're already half way done with April. Any suggestions on what book we should read in May?

Gah! I am so behind on this stuff lately. I already nominated a book so if anyone else has one we can use theirs. Otherwise how about Okay for Now Okay for Now by Gary D. Schmidt ?

That one actually looks awesome! I'm adding it to my list.

I also sat on a panel with JA Souders for the UCF Book Festival last weekend and her book looks like a great read...Renegade (plus, she's super nice). I actually picked up a copy while I was there; I'm really looking forward to reading it :).

And if it's allowed for me to mention it, I think the group might also enjoy my book Aerenden: The Child Returns. I'd be happy to provide copies if you're interested in reading it. I think a few people have read it here, but most haven't.

Oooo Kristen! How did I not know about your book? You are more than welcome to mention it. My main requirement here is that the book is easily accessible, which it appears your book is. Your book is also on audio book which for me is always a good thing because I am more likely to get to the audio book than an actual print book. I vote for Aerenden as our May book!

p.s. hope you like Okay for Now as well :)

Kristen Taber | 506 comments I'm sure I will. The ratings for it look fabulous!

The narrator for my book is actually awesome. I'm so lucky to have found her. She has a sample, too...I'll message it to you, since I don't want to sidetrack the thread.

Kristen's books are awesome! :D

And Okay for Now looks good, Heidi. I hadn't heard of it before but it looks like it has fantastic ratings!

That is great! I hope others find it and like it! I actually read the first book (no need to read them in order) The Wednesday Wars The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt , which was also good but I liked Okay for Now the most :)

I vote for Kristen's. I would be fine with having Okay for Now as a June read if others are ok with it??
