I've always loved the idea of being a YouTuber but when it comes down to it, I don't even know what I would say! I'd love to just give my opinions and help/advice people. Being a glass half empty type of person I know I will never even make a video, let alone put it online. But I REALLY want to do it. Has anyone got any advice, tips, things they'd like me to do/talk about if I did make any videos or even just some words of encouragement?

I think just going for it is the best step forward, specially if you feel like you could give some good advice to people. the truth is, you won't know if it's for you until you sit in front of a camera and do it. Think like this, do you have anything to lose if you do it? no? then just go for it. (I hope that helped in some way) xx
1. Do it because you want to. Do not try to please others if it won't be positive for you. Don't worry about such things as the camera/lighting/etc. not being the best. It's about you, the "layout" is extra.2. Just make a video, you can decide whether to put it online or not later.
3. Pick a place to film where you can be comfortable: your bedroom where you can be alone and feel safe? or the living room with a friend for support? whatever you feel like.
4. The most important one, have fun! Do what you like to do and it will bring out the best of you.
This is what I can think of, I hope it may help you? I actually have the same problem as you, but then a little bigger and even though it's really hard.. just do it. You don't have anything to lose. Maybe you can search for other starting youtubers and ask them for advice? I'm sure they will help you xx
Maybe try a video which doesn't require much talking (I don't know what type of video you want to make, but I'm sure it will work for all categories), so that you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Hope that helped xx
What sort of videos do you want to make? Singing? Vlogging? Whatever it is you want to do be confident and believe in yourself. It may seem silly at first but it does get better!
Do a tag, that way people can find out about you but because it's a tag it's sort of a safety blanket because most of the videos done for you, you just need to 'fill in the blanks' I guess, just try to be yourself!!! Emma Blackery did a starting YouTube series, maybe check that out, if you do start please put your YouTube name here so I can check it out!!! I'd love to see what you do xx :)
If you want to give advice start with something small and not to controversial then build up to meatier stuff when your more confident :) Manet do revision advice or something like that
Tags are pretty easy, and you can try filming with a friend. My neighbor and I filmed so much stuff and then she didn't upload it.... That was back in January.... Hopefully your friends won't be as lazy as mine
I'd love to become a youtuber/booktuber but I just don't have the confidence :(
I'm going to (hopefully) start you tubing after my exams xx they end on the 13th of June (it's given me something to look forward to!!) , I've been thinking about it for a year, and my friend started it so I think I might give it a shot (my friends called thepyjamapolice and I'll be Thefrustratednoodle)
I've always fancied being a booktuber however, I don't think I'd be good at it so instead I created a book blog. I'd love fellow Hopefuls to read it and give me some feedback for improvement :)
