Howdy! I'm Mercedes Fox. I am the author of 3 published books all involving werewolves. I write for mature readers and I don't write romance. My novels are thrillers and horror books. Enough about those.

As for me, I'm 41, married to the best man (in my opinion) in the world and fur-baby Mom to 3 very spoiled dogs. I'm an only child but consider my 2 best friends sisters. The 3 of us are unstoppable when together. I have always written since I was kid but never had the guts to actually publish until about 4 years ago. I'm also a crocheter. I've done that since I was like 10. My Great Grandmother taught me and I've just hung on to it. I've even made some of my own patterns and sold them on Etsy.com I love to read and crochet and I love my iPad. I'm a big gamer too. I used to have all the game systems and always played. The last big online game I go into was Final Fantasy Online. This is where I came up with my pen-name.

I'm also a competition benchrest rifle shooter. I enjoy this with my Dad and husband. I love shopping with my Mom and fankly don't know what I'm going to do when my parents pass. The thought scares the turds out of me.

I hate cooking, but do like to bake. I hate picking up puppy landmines. I'm not too keen on laundry and ironing either. I worked at the same place for 16 years until my husband and I decided to take the self-employed route.

I've been desribed as a nerd, I'm always cheerful (though not true, I just don't always show when I'm hurting), friendly to everyone I meet, I'm hardly ever on time (I dont' know why I just can't seem to make it), I'm very hard on myself and my biggest critic and a horrible speller.
