Jai The Hunger Games is an amazing book for anybody to read. For action , suspense readers it is perfect because the main theme in The Hunger Games is survival! It follows the story of a girl named Katniss that has to fight to the death against 23 others and this all occurs in a dystopian future where the government manipulates it citizens. I would categorize this book as an adventure/action genre due to its plot and main story line. I loved the author's writing style because of the way she can just paint vivid images in the readers' mind and not over do it. This leaves the reader wanting more and always excited to turn the page. This novel left me wanting more and i highly recommend it! Also, if you do read it and enjoyed it, there is a complete series to go along with it!

Dseeler | 12 comments I've heard so much about this book, but I have never found the time to pick it up. I have been tempted to watch the movies, but I refuse tp because I still want to read the book. My sister always tells me how good it is; I don't know how why I don't read it. Your review gives me a pretty good image of what it's about.

Tony C | 7 comments I had actually heard about the book, but saw the movie first without reading the book first. But the major thing about movie v.s book is that a movie can only be around 3 hours long, so they cannot show the deeper detail that the books can (Jaws was a prime example). I may actually decide to read this over the summer! Great review!
