I would like to suggest
Exodus 2022 by Kenneth G. Bennett as it releases May 20. It's a new adult, eco sci-fi thriller. When I say sci-fi, I don't mean spaceships and aliens. More of a paranormal touch. So far our early readers, blog tour reviewers and even Kirkus Reviews have given it rave reviews. I think it's a refreshing, edge of your seat read -- the first time I read it, EXODUS 2022 left me thinking about it long after the last page. Thanks for your consideration.
I loved Easy, so Breakable is on my top to-read list. As soon as it'll be available I'll read it. Also, I'd like to suggest my New Adult novel PATCH UP
Patch Up . It's a contemporary novel. (I hope you don't mind me suggesting it).
It may be too forward, but I adore this group and would love it if my book, THE HIDING, could get a shot. It hasn't been mass reviewed yet, so your thoughts would be much appreciated. It's a sci fi romance about a genetically advanced boy who grows into a man while living in hiding from the federal agents who hunt him for his gifts. When he saves the life of a young woman running from her past, they discover a love they never imagined and learn that truth isn't for the feint of heart.
I saw a lot of mixed reviews, so I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's opinions on this one. :)
Do you all like to read coming of age/love story/family sagas? I'd love to have you take a look at my novel in hardcover and ebook, Boundaries: A Love Story, in the same genre as Sue Miller, Anne Tyler, Elizabeth Berg and Scott Spencer. It might be appropriate for the group. Let me know what you think! Thanks. www.christinezmason.com Boundaries: A Love Story

What book would you like to be our group read for May? Please only suggest one book for contemporary and one for non-contemporary.
Books that are part of a series where the first book must have been read to understand the second cannot be included UNLESS the group has read the first as a group read. The book must also be available by the first of the month.
If the book you suggest isn't obviously NA in the synopsis please add why you consider it to be NA (characters ages etc.)
