The biggest struggle in my life I figuring out which one I like more, Will or Jace?
Will went through so much crap and I don't see how Tessa thinks she's good enough for him because she's not. She freaking got engaged to his best friend and I get that she thought Will didn't love and blah, but the signs were so obvious that he was in love with her! And it soooo wasn't fair to Jem that she said yes, but she was still completely in love with Will, but we'll save that rant for another time.
Will is such a tragic character, his sister died, he thought it was his fault, he thought he was cursed for years and ran away from his family because of it, he fell in love with a warlock only to push her away because he loved her too much and then she went and got engaged to his best friend, who was dying! He had to push anyone he ever cared about away because he thought he was saving them! And theeen he finds out he's not cursed, but doesn't want to hurt his friend, so he has to watch his true love be engaged to him AND THEN HE THINKS JEM DIES. And that all happens and basically Will dies in the end, Tessa is in love with Jem (again NOT FAIR) and Will won't be in City of Heavenly Fire, but Jem and Tessa will be and they'll be in love and yada yada and omg I cry for Will Herondale.
He went through so much and I love him.
