This is the place to post anything you want about yourself. It could be how your day is going, special places you visited, grandkids, etc. Have fun with it! If you want to start your own little section just go to the personal thread and at the top hit the button that says new topic.

It's my day off so my day so far is going pretty good. Yesterday was pretty fun hanging out and having lunch with my wife and a friend of ours. He's an author and has a really amazing set of books out called The Nebador series. He has a really cool website set up for it and the first book in the series "The Test" is free for download. Today is kinda rainy, gloomy, and cold but I am having a cup of joe with cocoa and hoping to finish up The Strain later on :o)
I'm on the second book in the trilogy Steven, but it's slow going. Maybe you'll catch up. Are you planning on reading the whole trilogy?
Yes, I plan on it but not sure exactly when I will start the second book yet. I am really enjoying the first and looking forward to seeing how the TV show of it comes out.
Cool, you'll like the second book.
What's your friends name Steven so I can look the books up? This is a really good ides Cindy:) I don't think I do enough in my day to write a blog, my life is pretty boring. But there's nothing wrong with that is there.Did either of you see the show Bitten? It was based on the Kelley Armstrong book Bitten. I got the book 14 years ago and its one of my favourite werewolf books:) They completely messed up the show! So I'm hoping that they don't do the same with The Strain. Is Guillermo Deltoro going to be involved with the writing?

Angie wrote: " I don't think I do enough in my day to write a blog, my life is pretty boring. But there's nothing wro..."Well, mine is too. I just plan to write all about my reading, for the most part.
You don't even have to write something everyday. Just post when you want to. I thought it would be good because it could be a little more personal. If you want to get to know somebody a little better, etc. And there's no need to get really personal unless you want. I occasionally get on a bit of a rant and it will be a nice place to vent or post some happy things. And like Chuck said, he might just talk about his reading.
I do a successful book blogger and have one blog about me which I need to keep up more, and one about my dog. My book one was not great when I started and I did not know what I was doing. You will get the hang of it if you want to do it. People will follow you and read it. I get over 800 views a day. I like Blogspot.com. So go for it, there is a nice blogging community out there to connect with like Bloglovin'. If you have any questions ask me. Good luck!
Thanks Mollydee. I'm not going for anything formal. Just a spot on the discussion board for people to have the option if they want it.

Give me your link and I will stop by. If you get serious about it and need help, I am here or I can point you to someone who can help :) I think it is awesome you are blogging. And do not be discouraged, some people don't answer their questions and comments (bad move I say) but just find someone that will. Oh! I did not give you my link. http://Mismatchedbookends.Blogspot.com

I have really enjoyed these books and I'm on book 4 now. He's also got audio of the first 3 books up on audibles as well and those are done so well. I highly recommend those too.
Oh and Angie a boring life is just a state of mind. Are you bored with it? Seems you have been enjoying a lot of great books...maybe just take time to go out to a park once in a while though. You should always get outside too...heck bring the book to a park :O)
No I'm not bored!! But other people might think so, I don't really do much, I go to the library and go swiming and I have a great time doing that:D Then I see my grandson lots as he only lives up the road and last week I went to the cinema to see Captain America. Saying all that it doesn't sound boring does it,lol I've just looked up your friends web site Steven and his book sounds really good:)
Yeah your days sounds really exciting and heck I haven't even seen Captain America yet :O) So cool to live that close to family and you have got to be an awesome grandmother. Does your grandson go to the library with you sometimes? You and your grandson should read The Nightmare Academy together someday? It's by Dean Lorey and it too is a blast.
I am going to look up the book too. And trust me, everyone has something good in their lives. And I think people love the connection with other bloggers. Talk to other people about the same things you like. That is what it is all about!:)

I really enjoy meeting people in other countries and learning about their cultures and such...lot's of fun :O)
Steven wrote: "Mollydee wrote: "I am going to look up the book too. And trust me, everyone has something good in their lives. And I think people love the connection with other bloggers. Talk to other people about..."I agree. I always have to remember what time zone I am writing too lol!
Oh and which by the way Mollydee, big Steelers fan here too :O) I lived in Pittsburgh for almost 2 years while going to school there. I could see the stadium from my apartment window at one time :O) I now live in a home that is mostly Seahawks fans so if they make it to the superbowl together again, we should have an interesting party that year :O)
Mollydee wrote: "Steven wrote: "Mollydee wrote: "I am going to look up the book too. And trust me, everyone has something good in their lives. And I think people love the connection with other bloggers. Talk to oth..."Could be the Twilight Zone time zone :O)
I have a really good time with Jamie, going to the library is a big part of that. And the movies, and we used to cycle but I can't do that any more. I'm always giving him books as well. Got him reading more than just Harry potter. That Nightmare Academy sounds like just the thing for us both to read. And Steven the new Captain America film is so awesome!! I didn't really like the first one but this one!! I'm taking Jamie at the weekend, he's going to love it:D

Not doing anything formal Mollydee. Just here in this thread. I started my own little discussion as did Chuck. No link to give.
