Violet smiled, though her eyes wide. "That was some fast running! If you were on track, you would be like big time star!" She laughed

"Oh really?" She asked, her eyes full of curiousity. "That sounds so cool! I'm a mermaid! I change when I water touches my skin...which can be a pain sometimes." She shrugged

She smiled and dove into the pool. Once she was completely underwater, her tail had formed, a silver and smooth tail. Her eyes turned to a more silvery gray colour, and her shirt changed to what the top of a normal bikini would look like.
"Tada!!"

"Uh...um I don't know. Oh! I could form an air bubble around you!" She smiled

She blushed. "Oh...alright then." She shrugged and dove underwater, making small water-tornadoes.

Violet swam in circles, forming a ball of water

She smiled at him and waved

She took his wrists and spun each other in circles. She giggled underwater

She smiled back swam at a fast speed towards the surface, doing a flip in the air, and dove back underwater.

She came above the surface as well. "Don't you just love swimming!" She laughed

"Really? Thanks." She smiled. She floated on her back on the water. "What are your powers?"

"Yup. And sea creatures." She said

She tilted her head and swam down as well, beating him to the bottom.

She laid down, her tail moving up and down.

Violet formed the word "hello" in watery bubbles and sent them towards him.

She giggled and rolled over to the drain. She began to hit it, as if it were a drum, making noises echo

She smiled at him, swaying her hand to tell him to join in.

She giggled as the sounds began to sound like a pattern

She smiled and swam above the surface

She sat down on the steps and smiled at him. "I miss swim competitions..." She said sadly

"I wonder what my parents are thinking..." She mumbled

She shook her head.

"I ran away...well...swam away..." She said and shrugged. "They must be worried."

She blushed and looked down. "Oh. Me? Y-you hardly know me though." She said a bit shyly

She giggled lightly. "Really?" She asked looking up at him

"T-thanks..." She blushed

She looked down again.

She nodded. "Alright."

She smiled. "Thanks!" She said, pulling herself out of the water. She took her hands and clenched them into fists, making the water hot enough to evaporate. Then her legs were back, and her clothes as well.
