Yay Bluemoon! One of my 2016 goals is also to finish a bunch of the books I own that I haven't read yet. :) There are so many!
The series and owned goals are mine too! I don't really read cozies, but the other two are well within my reach to accomplish ;)

I have had this same goals for two years now and always end up reading new or library books! I did a little better with this last year but still not great. Maybe this will be my year!

Haha, same here! I always get drawn in by the shiny new books (and library books) even though I have a massive pile of books I've bought. :P But I think I'll have a goal to read at leas one book I own a month.

Me too! I am kind of a book hoarder, and I love getting new books! A lot of times I can't afford them, so I go the library for my fix! LOL!
I see it the same way, Heidi!Sometimes I grab way too many, though, and don't get them read before they are due back!

Constant problem of mine!
Heidi (Yup. Still here.) wrote: "Good goals! Are you going by your real name now?? :)"
Yup that's my real name. I might change it again after a few months. I was just really tired of seeing bluemoon all the time. I don't mind people calling me either or.

I borrow most of my cozies from the elibrary. I haven't gone to a library in awhile. I don't drive and the library 'near' my house is actually not that near.

I am very spoiled to have two libraries really close to my house plus I can use the library in the town I work in as well (plus I use my sisters Overdrive account since she doesn't use it - shhhhhhh!)
I am able to use 3 libraries! The one in my town is about 6 blocks from me, so super close! I usually stop on my way home from work. There is one in the small town I work in, and a HUGE new one in Ames that is right in between the town I live in and the town I work in. So I also stop in there from time to time on my way home from work :) Between the 3, I can usually find a book I want! I am very lucky!
Heidi (Yup. Still here.) wrote: "I seriously love libraries. Completely. :)"I've come to adore Overdrive for when I'm listening to audiobooks at work :) And I'm a five-minute drive from the main library downtown, and if I can't find anything through that network (it's connected to all the libraries in the Akron area), there's also SearchOhio and OhioLink for requesting from statewide and university libraries :D
You guys are all spoiled!
I'm okay with my e-library and overdrive. I get a little overwhelmed when I have to get library books.

Ashley you are super spoiled! I can use my local university library if I go there to get a special card but am too lazy! I think if I do that I can use the university systems Overdrive for all the universities in IL (or the public ones at least). I can also go get a Chicago PL card and use their overdrive by Chicago is 2 hours away and I just don't see the need at this point to drive up there to get this as well. I am jealous of your statewide system. Our libraries are broken down into groups and you can check anything out from the libraries in your group but this is still normally really great for me and I generally find almost everything I want.

Those other books on Dorothy Must Die are just groups of short stories and novellas. I always consider those "extra" reading. :P
Great job!
BRIGID: Nice! Hope you like it! I really enjoyed the first book
JENNY: Apparently it's not going to be a trilogy, I thought it was. I was a bit disappointed. I mean the story is good don't get me wrong, I was just surprised they extended it.
HEIDI: Thanks ^_^

I haven't updated this in quite awhile and I think its too late for me to remedy that. Just way too many months missed.
I'm really proud that I passed my 50 goal for this year though. I haven't been able to do that since joining Goodreads. So yay for me ^_^

I'm still going to aim for 50 books, but with a little bit more specific selection.
Here are my 'specifications':
- Read more books from my bookshelf. As in books that I already own
- Read more cozies/mystery books. I haven't read any cozy books this year.
- Finish series I've started already
