Right, so I love books! There's nothing better than sitting out in the sun with the wind in my hair reading a beautifully written piece of literature! Yet there is one group of books that seems to be growing more and more popular that just aggravates me and I want to know if anybody else feels the same and these books are Fantasy Novels where two different "worlds" meet.
If a book is to be based on regular human beings and their lives, that is absolutely fine and chances are I'm going to love it. If a book is based on vampires and how things happen within the vampire world, that is also fine. However, when there books like the Blood Rights series, were vampires cross in and out of the human world, it frustrates me because we know they don't belong.
Some may say "Well what about Twilight". I love the twilight books! In fact I couldn't put them down! The reason behind that is that in Twilight, vampires and werewolves co-exist within our world forever - it's not as if vampires come from a different world in the Twilight books, rather they have been hidden in plain sight among humans. This is what makes the books so intriguing.
Am I the only one who has a massive problem with books where different "worlds" cross over? Or is it just me?
