Which just means we should encourage more women to do what they do, whether it is writing or art or anything else. I think a lot of the time, whatever category, the standard is considered male and then women get put in a separate category. Almost like saying this is the best from those categories and now here is the best of women in those categories. Art is like that (and writing)... there is art and then there is women's art and sometimes if a woman artists becomes mainstream she exists to point to her and say "look, she made it, no discrimination here."
Since I own the rights to "Snowburn," I've uploaded it into the photogallery, but I like everything done by my cover artist Alexandria over at http://gothicfate.com/. I found her on Deviant Art, which has some real gems by women artists, http://www.deviantart.com/.
When I was looking for some art for the cover for book I'm about to publish, I thought maybe the site of the Society of Creative Anachromnism might have something. Wow what a resource. Great photos! And the best one's are by women. There's one photo by Susan Gilbert that looks like a Vermeer painting. So I've decided to not only use one for the cover but also for the interior. Yes, I'm crediting the photographers. For those who like sword and sorcery fantasy, the SofCA's photos are well worth taking a look at. And yes, for you battle lovers, there are lots of fight and archery photos though no actual blood.

Here post amazing sci-fi and fantasy art or art links. Know any cool women artists you want to introduce to us? Any cool images? They don't have to include women or people for that matter.
Have fun!
