This book has a light greenish blue background which a girl standing in the background if I rememeber correctly she had a really abusive boyfriend so she ends up moving in with a family member I want to say her Aunt she comes to a clearing in the meadow that leads her to this boy who is from the early 30's or 40's he is forced to relive the same day everyday which I think may be his 17 birthday because I remember a passage about the cake his mom made him as well as talks about rations which would make it great depression timeframe I believe he has a brother who dies in the war well they meet and he ends up taking her to meet his family his mom thinks she poor based on her modern clothes and gives her new ones I can't remember the name of this it was really good and I need to find it please!

I read it last yeah it's just one book I'm not sure where the location was it's for teens I would say cause I found it in the young adult section
