Maniac Magee discussion

Internal conflict is when a character is having a problem or argument with himself. There is one main internal conflict in Maniac Magee, by Jerry Spinelli. It is when Jeffery Lionel Magee is debating in his head whether or not to stay with the Beales at 728 sycamore. He knows that he is causing a lot of trouble in the East side and a lot of trouble for the Beale family. The internal conflict is that for a long time he is thinking about when he crosses the line and makes lif unpleasant for people on the East end.
