This is a topic where you can basically talk about anything to do with writing. Often people who like to read like to write as well! Talk to other writers and share ideas and things you like to write about. Share writing advice and techniques and share ideas and inspirations! This doesn't have to be just about novel and book writing either. It can be for school stuff too, if you're having trouble with a certain report or essay or something like that, ask for and share help and advice for writing. I'm also writing another where I want to break a lot of cliches because many series always do the same!

I've already published one book but I've spent the past two years planning a trilogy and am a fifth of the way through the first draft of book one.

I am working on a trilogy too. I've written a first draft of all three books, and am now in the process of rewriting them.

I'm currently employed as a kind of journalist writing a column on student life in France for a magazine, but most of the time I can't even figure out what to talk about, any advice? :)

I'm not sure, how about just a day in the life of a French student or something? Common things that you have to do or perhaps common problems that can arise? Don't know I'm not too good at things like that...

Yeah, I know, but it's such a broad subject, we have so many problems, not only regarding college but everything. It would be a very long article if I had to talk about everything. :p But thanks! :)

How long can you do?

Like a page or so, but the editor can cut me if he wants to put up pictures or drawings illustrating what I'm talking about. Right now I have an idea for an article but it's about the state cutting funding to some of the department in my college, so it's not exactly fun, more political.

Oh yeah. That'd be interesting though.

Yeah, I know, I just have to think about what I want to do, if I want it to be more funny or more political

Right now, I'm writing my own Mystery/Suspense story that's a Heroic.

I like to write too!
I write Fantasy stories. So far I have finished the first book, Splintered Fate, which is the first story I have ever completed. It is also a part of a series that I expect there to be three books for.
I then went ahead and tried to self publish it, which is super exciting yet terrifying. And now I am working on the second book.

i write poems and short verses when words pop into my head and won't get out. now whether or not they are actually worth writing is up for debate lol.
