Fallen (fallencatalyst) Hi!
Do you have any ideas?

message 2: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Okay. Well do you want a more realistic or fantasy idea?

message 3: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Hmm.. Okay.

message 4: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Okay. So this idea is based on an album by Crown The Empire.
There are two sides, Dark and Light. There was a huge war many years ago that split up the sides, probably forever. The Dark's Empire and The Light's Empire are separated by a giant field. Each empire is surrounded by trees so nobody can actually see the fields in the center unless they sneak out to them.

The sides don't talk to each other. It's not allowed. Just like falling in love with the other side isn't allowed. Sides can be identified by their clothes. Lights always wear light colors, mainly white. Darks wear dark colors, mainly black. Grey is a banned color. (The sides often will wear black or white masks, clearly showing their side.) Enter our characters. Guy A is a Dark, son of the Dark leaders, Girl A is a Light. Girl A also happens to be the daughter of the leaders of the Light side. One day, Girl A sneaks out to the fields. Guy A is out there. She is wary of him at first but they slowly warm up to each other (possibly Falling in love). Can they bring the sides back together or will they have to live with the burden of a forbidden love...?

message 5: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) I can play either character. And the guy and girl characters can be switched.

Which character do you like?

message 6: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Okay. So you want to be the dark guy?

And do you want to do just one idea or do doubles with another different idea?

message 7: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Okay. So light guy for you and dark girl for me?

Okay. I'm just checking.

message 8: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) That's fine. Characters?

message 9: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Yeah, that's fine. I'll make my character in a few.

message 11: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Want to start with them meeting in the fields?

message 12: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) I can start.

Don't forget to add an image for your guy.

-----

Keaira wandered out into the fields in the early evening. She looked around, biting her lip lightly. She loved to come out here. It was a place where she could do whatever, where she didn't have to act all proper and perfect like her father wanted. She sat down in the fields, her back against a tree and set her backpack down beside her. She had homework from her tutor/personal teacher to do but she really didn't want to do it, or anything.

message 13: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Your guy is really cute.))

message 14: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((I can understand that. :) just so you know, I'm not extremely good at being detailed but I'm trying. Please let me know if my posts ever get too short for you))

Keaira had finally just decided to take her homework out and attempt to get some work done. She was in the middle of writing down the answers to some questions about the book she was reading. She tensed and stopped write when he heard footsteps. Keaira set down her work and looked around.
She saw the guy but he didn't seem to see her. She bit her lip lightly, watching him. Keaira knew that she could pass for a light if she really wanted to in her blue jeans and brown leather jacket. She typically wore black clothing when she was actually in the dark empire but she wore colors more when she came out here, just in case. Keaira noticed the guy look around and was surprised that he didn't notice her, But also grateful.

message 15: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira sighed softly. Her father had taught her from when she was little to not talk or be anywhere near a Light. She didn't always follow her father's rules but this one was one that she thought she needed to follow. She quietly put her stuff in her backpack and stood up. Keaira was curious about the Lights but knew how they could be. She slipped her backpack over her shoulder and looked around.

message 16: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira debated what to do. To get home through her normal path, she would have to walk right by him. She sighed, biting her lip. She knew that he knew that she was there, but didn't really care. He was a light, it's not like he could get her in trouble for being out in the fields. Ari also didn't want to go home yet. So she walked through the fields, heading away from him. She had to go home soon, her father or one of the guards would notice she was gone and that would be really bad. She wandered through the fields, running a hand through her hair.

message 17: by Fallen (last edited Dec 13, 2015 07:13PM) (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((It's fine :) you're welcome for the friend request. And you like matchbox twenty? Yay! What about Paradise Fears. Have you heard of them?))

Keaira was curious. She wanted to talk to the Light guy, he wasn't scary to her despite what she'd been told. She sighed softly, lost in thought. Sometimes she hated being Dark, hated all the things that some associated with it. Maybe someday she could change that though once she became the leader. Keaira kept glancing at the sky, to see how much time she had left.
As it got darker out and the sun was about to set, Keaira sighed. She started quietly walking back toward where the guy was. She didn't have a choice, she had to walk past him to get home. The Darks had a fence around the empire and she had snuck out through a hole in the fence. She bit her lip nervously as she walked, hoping that the guy wasn't there anymore. "Please don't be there." She muttered to herself.

message 18: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Hmm. You might like them. They kinda remind me of matchbox twenty but different..))

Keaira walked quietly, biting her lip and looking around. She noticed that he wasn't in the spot he was before and sighed softly in relief. She looked around and kept walking. Keaira had been trained how to fight and protect herself but would hate if she ever had to use that training. She looked for the hidden path through the trees that led to the Fence, hoping she hadn't accidentally passed by it. She found the path and walked down it, not worried about the light seeing her or anything.

message 19: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Skip a few days..?)

message 20: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Okay. Sorry. I fell asleep...))

Keaira was already in the fields, sitting in the spot that he was at before. She was barely noticeable, sitting with her knees up to her chest. She had spent most of the day out here, which meant Dark guards were probably looking for her. She sighed, frustrated. Why did the Darks have to be so violent? She asked herself. What had happened was there was a fight in the streets yesterday and she had attempted to break it up. Keaira had been shoved to the ground, getting a few scratches but nothing major. But if anyone hurt a member of the so called Royal family, they were executed. So that is what happened. The guy was executed this morning.
Keaira looked up, hearing footsteps. Her eyes were red like she had been crying. She bit her lip nervously, wondering if it was the guy from before. She took a deep breath, looking around to see where the footsteps were coming from.

message 21: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) When Keaira saw him, she sighed softly. "Sorry.. This is your spot isn't it?" She said quietly in a shaky voice. Her voice wasn't shaking out of fear, she was sill calming down from what had happened this morning. Keaira stood up, biting her lip. "Sorry." She repeated to him. She grabbed her backpack and was about to walk away.

message 22: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira bit her lip nervously, watching him. "Yeah. I'm alright. Just having a rough day.." She replied quietly. She ran a hand through her hair, setting her backpack down again. She was somewhat surprised that he would say that she was alright there. After all, she was a dark and she definitely looked the part today, wearing black leggings and a loose black sweater and combat boots.

message 23: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira shrugged. "You'd actually be willing to talk to me?" She asked quietly. She knew that lights typically were scared of Darks. Keaira sat crosslegged on the ground, being careful to give him some space. This guy was the first Light that she had ever met and she wasn't sure what to think. He seemed just like her, just on the other side.

message 24: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira smiled faintly, watching him. He don't seem that bad to her. "Keaira, but please call me Ari.." She replied softly. She hated her real name. Her father had chosen it, claiming it was the name of her great grandmother or something. Ari bit her lip, watching him. She was curious. He was a Light, it would be so amazing to actually learn something new about that side.

message 25: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira shrugged. "It's nothing really important, just some stupid rules.." She said quietly. She didn't want him to know that she was one of the royal family, that could end badly, especially since he was on the Light Side. But he wasn't a light, not out here in the fields. He was a person. Maybe even a possible friend. Ari seemed to have calmed down quite a bit in just the short time that he had been there.

message 26: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira smiled faintly, seeing his reaction. "It's Good to know that you feel the same way about all that.." She said softly. "Say hello every time you see a higher status or a royal. Bow to the Leaders and their family. Don't roll your eyes at the guards." She listed with an eye roll of her own. Keaira barely talked to anyone, let alone had any friends. It wasn't that she didn't want to, it was just really difficult to do with all the rules and laws.

message 27: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari nodded. "It's the same. Luckily, some guards, well one or two don't even care if I roll my eyes at them anymore. They've given up on trying to stop me. What about dress code? It it really strict there like it is for me?" She asked curiously with a faint smile. Keaira was grateful for the chance to feel normal, even just for a little while. No rules, no guards following right behind her, no people telling her what to say. She could just talk. Theron was just another guy out here. He wasn't her enemy.

message 28: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira nodded, understanding. "Yeah. Same for me. Except with dark clothes.." She said, glancing at the black she was wearing today. "I got in trouble with my parents for wearing a shirt that was like this color." She said, running her hand lightly across the green grass. "It's apparently too bright.." She muttered. She didn't mention that it was just her father and her, not finding that information important. Keaira bit her lip lightly and looked over at him. She had a bunch more questions that she wanted to ask but wasn't sure if he'd be willing to answer all of them.

message 29: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "I don't really either." She said with a shrug, kinda lying. Keaira smiled faintly. "I don't really know. I just remember that I needed some space. I found this hole in the fence and crawled through. I walked around and I discovered this place." She explained. Keaira had been coming out here for probably about 8 years. At first it was someplace to escape from reality. But over time it became more of a safe area for her to just relax and not worry. "What about you?"

message 30: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira listened to him explain how he found this place, looking around at where they were. She smiled lightly and looked back at him. "Really? You've been coming out here that long? I wonder why I never saw or noticed you here before a few days ago..." She said quietly, biting her lip. "I've been coming out here for almost 8 years.." They must've come at different times of the day, either that or she just had never paid close enough attention to actually see him there. She knew that very few people came out here, if any besides her and Theron. Few even knew about it on the Dark side.

message 31: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Oh. That makes sense.." Keaira nodded. She bit her lip lightly. "I typically am here from the afternoon until night if I can get away with it.. Except for today. I've been here all day.." She commented softly. Keaira was grateful that she had never been caught out in the fields. If so, that would mean a lot more guards around her and the fence. Plus, the hole in the fence would most likely be mended. Keaira kept running her hand over the grass, biting her lip lightly.

message 32: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Mine are supposed to be all day long. It's supposed to be that way so I stay out of trouble." She replied quietly. "I get my work and learn what I need to. Then I come out here to actually do the work..." Keaira sighed softly. Her father figured the best way for her to learn what she had to do as a leader was to pretty much shadow him and learn to lead how he does it. Which was the actual opposite of how she wanted to rule. Keaira also had to be married before she could become the leader.. That was the one thing that she was dreading the most. Her father would probably even pick who she would marry.

message 33: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "You might try it sometime. It's usually really quiet and calm around here, which makes it easier to focus. Well for me at least." Keaira said quietly. She bit her lip, watching him. She forced herself to quit thinking about her side. Stop thinking About getting in trouble, about her future, about anything that wasn't here an real right now. Keaira noticed him shudder. "You alright?" She asked. Her father didn't trust her to not get in trouble. He didn't even barely trust her to be allowed outside by herself.

message 34: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira nodded. "Okay. I just noticed you like shake for a moment." She replied softly, still biting her lower lip. It was a habit that she had had ever since she was little. She couldn't get rid of it, no matter how much she tried. "I can always listen if you ever need to talk." She offered, her voice barely above a whisper. She doubted that he would ever take her up on the offer, mainly because they were supposed to be enemies but she offered anyway. Side didn't matter, not right now in the fields which were kind of like the grey area between the Darks and the Lights.

message 35: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira nodded. She had been genuine with the offer. She was willing to listen to him talk or vent to her, especially if he would let her do the same. Keaira still didn't quite trust him but thought that he possibly could be a friend. She listened as he told her what he was thinking. When he finished, she waited a moment before speaking. "I understand that. My father would kill me too if he knew I came out here.. Our fathers actually sound quite similar. Extremely loyal to their side. They expect us to be perfect little clones of them.." She said softly, biting her lip. Keaira guessed that she knew the one major difference between their fathers, besides what side they were on. His father was a loyalist, or so she thought. Where her father was the leader.

message 36: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira ran a hand through her hair, looking over at him. "Eventually he will most likely give up on trying to make you do things his way, then you can do things your way. It'll probably happen sooner than you think." She said quietly. She heard what he said about being a good listener and nodded. After a moment, she started talking quietly. She had to get this out of her head, before it haunted her mind and made things worse. "Earlier you asked if I was okay. The honest answer is no.. I was walking home last night and there were two guys fighting. I went and tried to break it up. I ended up getting shoved to the ground by one of the guys.. Then guards were there and forcing the guys apart and arrested the one that shoved me... He- he got...." Keaira trailed off, unable to figure out the right word to say. Killed? Executed? Also, if she said it, then that might just bring up more questions.

message 37: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira bit her lip nervously, tapping her hands on the ground so their shaking wasn't be as obvious. "He- he was executed...." She whispered. "He was arrested for the fight or something and my father must've pulled some strings or something.. I don't know.." She said shakily. "If I just hadn't stepped in, they could've just beat each other up and then they both would still be alive at least." Keaira looked down, knowing she was lying to him but she couldn't tell the truth. Hurting the leader or any of their family resulted in death on her side. She wasn't sure why exactly she had told him but it felt better than keeping it inside. It wasn't like she had any real friends that she could talk about any of this stuff with.

message 38: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira nodded. She took a shaky breath as she forced herself to calm down again. She bit down hard on her lower lip. "If I hadn't got in the middle though, then they both might be alive. That guy, he wouldn't have shoved me so he wouldn't have gotten killed for that." She whispered in a low voice. "It's alright. There's nothing that you can do about it.." She ran a hand through her hair and looked over at him. "Sorry for venting all this to you." She apologized.

message 39: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira sighed. She nodded, trying to believe him. She smiled lightly up at him. "Yeah. Be careful." She said softly, biting her lip. "See you around, Theron." She responded as she watched him walk away. She glanced at the sky, knowing that she needed to get home soon too before she got in trouble. Keaira stood up and stretched before grabbing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder. She looked around before starting to walk back to her side.

message 40: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Sure. Like Keaira notices that she hasn't seen him at all and starts to worry but he shows up..?))

message 41: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Sure! Can you start?))

message 42: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Okay. I've just learned to ask, or else most of the time the other person and I just both wait for the other to post.))

Keaira had just finished with her lessons for the day and was on her way to the fields. She was hoping to see Theron there, she had been going as early as she could every day in hopes of catching him. She had been going there for the past week, but never seemed to be able to catch or see him. Maybe he didn't want to see her, she thought. She bit her lip nervously as she ducked through the hole in the fence and made her way through the trees to the fields. She had been trying to dress less like a Dark when she went out to the fields, just in case she saw him. Today's outfit was black jeans and a light blue t shirt. Her hair was braided over her shoulder. Keaira looked around as she reached the fields, hoping to see him.

message 43: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((I've assumed that sometimes and then people don't post so I ask. :) ))

Keaira smiled lightly when she saw him. "You're back." She said, clearly happy. She walked over and sat on the ground across from him, still leaving about a foot or two of space between them. She slipped her backpack off of her shoulder and set it down beside her. "Hi." Keaira said quietly, biting her lip. She noticed the dark jeans he was wearing and was kinda surprised.

message 44: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Okay!))

"Don't be sorry, It's alright." Keaira replied with a light smile. She understood that he couldn't come out here, especially if his father was keeping a close eye on him. It wasn't safe, especially if he got followed out here and she was there. "Pretty good. How have you been besides that issue with your father?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side slightly. Keaira shifted her backpack, so the heavy textbooks inside weren't resting against her knee. She considered him a friend, her first real one. Even though they were both keeping some secrets from the other, that didn't really matter.

message 45: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) ((Okay :) ))

Keaira frowned some when she heard how his parents were being really tough on him. She bit her lip and listened to him explain. For her, locking her in her room wasn't a punishment, it was more like a reward. She didn't have to talk to anyone or do anything when she was stuck in her room. She smiled lightly. "Okay. Well, I know nothing about you so how about we play like 20 questions or something like that?" She suggested. Keaira started to try and think of some questions that she would like to ask him

message 46: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "Okay." Ari nodded and waited for him to ask his question. She shrugged. "I don't know. I just don't, I guess." She replied quietly, biting her lip. Since she was just wearing a t-shirt and not a hoodie or a sweater, a necklace chain was visible hanging from her neck. There was a ring on the chain with the exterior black, and the inside silver. Both sides were engraved. She absentmindedly reached up, holding the ring in her hand. Keaira honestly knew why she didn't smile that much but didn't feel confident enough to explain. It didn't seem that important to her or anyone really, Theron was the first person who even noticed that.

message 47: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) "How is it not an answer? I don't have a real reason that you would believe as an answer so.." Keaira trailed off, biting her lip. She shrugged, not sure. She didn't want to ask him something that was really personal because then it meant explaining why, which brought up more unwanted emotions. She wouldn't tell any of his secrets or personal things that he shared, she had nobody to share them with. Keaira wondered if he would connect the dots. She didn't smile much, and she had told him a little about how she started coming out to the fields because of a really bad day. Those two items were connected. Keaira silently debated if she should agree to his offer, ask him something personal and then she would answer his question honestly.

message 48: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Ari sighed and nodded. She hesitated a moment before speaking. "I- I guess I stopped really smiling when my mom died.." She said softly. "That really rough day I mentioned when we were talking before was her funeral.." She bit her lip nervously, still holding the ring in her hand. It used to belong to her mother but was hers now. She looked down at the grass, taking a deep breath. She couldn't let herself go back there, not into those memories.

message 49: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira tensed slightly when he touched her knee but didn't pull back. She looked at him. "Don't be sorry. It's alright. It's in the past.." She replied softly. She let go of the necklace, calming herself again. "It's alright. Why are you apologizing for that though?" She asked. "You didn't do anything wrong..."

message 50: by Fallen (new)

Fallen (fallencatalyst) Keaira shrugged. "Things are really different from that on my side." She whispered. "But it's alright. It doesn't bother me." She told him with a faint smile. After a moment, she chose a question to ask him. "What's your favorite and least favorite custom on your side?" She asked curiously, biting her lip. She had sorta changed the subject on him but hoped he wouldn't mind. Ari watched him.
