Talk and chat about the first book of the series, Delirium.

Any opinions, I haven't read it yet because of the mixed reviews..

I read the first one, it was ok, it was just a little cheesy. When the book ended I flipped out and did an unforgivable thing, I couldn't stand the suspense and looked up the ending. I was not satisfied and so I didn't finish the series:/ Sorry. But if you like the author who wrote it, Lauren Oliver, you should Panic, I loved it!

Alrighty! :) Yeah a major pet peeve of mine is starting a series and hating it, but I have to keep reading out of a personal obligation lol

I do the same thing! You might like it though. Have you read Matched by Ally Condie it's similarish to that.

I loved Delirium... It was a great book! Requiem, though, was not. I blazed through the first couple chapters. Anybody recommend finishing it?

I called the ending. I felt bad that I did, but when (view spoiler)[ Alex died (hide spoiler)] I was like, 'called it!'

I have read the whole series, they were all different in their own ways. I think that the way Lauren Oliver wrote in Pandemonium was a little bit confusing at the beginning. And i was really surprised when Alex was alive!
