Ruth I take it you don't mean art about xmas? If you do, I've blown it. But I love this one.

Radioactive Cats
Cibachrome print by Sandy Skoglund, 1980.

Skoglund's 24 sculpted plaster cats covered with day-glo paint represent nature adapting to a post-nuclear world by turning bright green; they appear to have fared better than their human hosts.

Ruth: I'm so enjoying your posts. Interesting art for sure...and I liked your comments about how the humans aren't faring too well. I also enjoyed your self portrait and want to share it with my art group who think they are all too old to post for a human drawing course...whereas, in fact, they are young enough to be our children!
