Jane Stadermann | 2 comments Hi all,
I am starting up a picture book- an e-picture book- review website and would really appreciate recommendations of great picture books which can be read on a Kindle Fire...
I want to concentrate on indie/self published illustrators/writers, as they are the ones who cannot afford advertising usually and the big five publishers have the advantage of huge budgets.
If you are an illustrator yourself, give me a link to your website.
Many thanks,
Jane

I'm moving this to the folder where you'll be able to find many promotions by self-published authors.

If you would like to teach your child patience, and the child is between the ages of 4-8, then I recommend "Adventures of Faith, Hope, and Charity - Finding Patience" about three sisters named Faith, Hope and Charity who learn the value of the virtue of patience from their parents and the grandfatherly next-door neighbor. The book is available in paperback and on Kindle. It is self-published. You may learn more about the book from my website: http://virginialieto.com. Thanks for your interest in self-published picture books.

Heather Edwards | 2 comments Hello I'm new to writing on here.
I have written and illustrated two picture books.
"Don't get your seaweed knickers in a twist" 2014 and I have just released "I'm growing in your arms" one of my fans on Facebook has described it as "enchanting" They are both available on Amazon as paperback and kindle. My picture books are aimed at around 4-8 years. There are always life skills and a psychological message within the stories to encourage positive thinking and the skills needed to cope in life.....it's the teacher coming out in me!

I've also got a series entitled Featherpaws. I write and illustrate these books but they are aimed at around 8- 14 years, these books are stories about taking care of our world and animals, my next book is due in a couple of months.. Also available on Amazon . I have self published them all.

Lynelle (goodreadscomlynelle_woolley) | 3 comments Hi! I'm the author of picture, CAMELLIA THE FABULOUS FLOWER GIRL. It's available in print and fixed layout ebook on Amazon. http://amzn.to/14dMgrt

HEIDI KLUM put it on her "I Love List..." on her website. She calls it, "a great bedtime read for the little ones!"

Camellia believes she’s the “it” flower girl, even though she’s never been in a wedding. When she finally gets her chance, she discovers there will be two other flower girls! Now this little girl has a big dilemma: should she force the other girls to play by her rules or join in the fabulous flower girl fun? Features vibrant illustrations, diverse characters, and positive themes.

Thanks for you consideration!

Charlotte (charlotte_riggle) | 93 comments Catherine's Pascha: A Celebration of Easter in the Orthodox Church is available as a Kindle book. If you'll forgive me for saying so, it's a beautiful book. My illustrator is also my publisher, and she's amazing, no matter which hat she's wearing. You can learn more about the book (and about Pascha) on the website, www.catherinespascha.com, and on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/CatherinesPa....

It might seem like it's too late to review an Easter book, but in the Orthodox church, Pascha is May 1 this year. Next year, Easter/Pascha will be on the same day for everyone.

Thank you for a wonderful read, Charlotte. I downloaded the book, but then ordered a print version as that was easier for me and my eyes. But I loved the book and very highly recommend it. Kind of hoping you will do a similar picture book about Orthodox Christmas :-)
