Was it a good book year for ya? Did you have a lot of 5-star reads?

Since joining GR, I'm always amazed at how much I've read throughout the year b/c, unlike many, I didn't read much before my 20's. It was a shock to my husband if I read 1-2 books a year back then. I'm SO glad I got back into it and found a way to celebrate my loves with others who share a passion for reading! :D

I had three books that I gave one star to, they were poor reads, a lot of 3 star books this year.

I am a softie when it comes to rating. I rate a lot of books 4-stars, which is where the bulk of my 2015 reads fell. Next highest were my 3-stars, then 5.

I seldom give only one star, but those three books were awful.

One of them was an Agetha Christie book
as a rule aything by her is a three star plus book. But she is no romance writer tried the book
ages ago and then the audio recently.

I think I have to a better job next year of picking books to read.

Cool but where are you getting the average numbers? I can't find those anywhere. I have some that register as having no page count available so hard to say the shortest.

The book they have as my "highest rated on goodreads" isn't right. That has an average rating of 4 but when I hover over another another book that one has an average rating of 4.41. I only looked because the book they highlighted is a fairly obscure book on depression that only 1 other person has read.

Yeah, I don't trust those most/least picks either. Hopefully, all of the other info (our info) is correct though.

Same with me, Daffodil. Many of my 5s were for auto-buy authors, but I had a few surprises.
