Three Wars a Soldier - A great Australian War & Peace story. The author - Johny Bineham took many years to write it & review it before he was satisfied to finally publish it. As a 17 yr. old he volunteered to serve as an infantry man in Korea (1950-53 Conflict), while I as young boy lived next door in Harbin Manchuria. We often joked that I waved to him from a plane flying from HK to Sydney while he was on his way from Aust' to Sth Korea.

Next Johny again volunteers as a Corporal Sapper to Borneo in the Between 1962 and 1966 Indonesia and Malaysia fought a small, undeclared war which came to involve troops from Australia, New Zealand and Britain.

And once again as a sergeant in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps he goes to Vietnam (1962-75). A bloody good Guts & Glory story. But there is also, much about Johnny's peace time life starting off in Tully - Queensland.
