2017 Reading Challenge discussion

There wasn't a book set in my hometown that I could find to read, so I went for my home state. This is a short book, written in verse, about a family that moves from Vietnam to Alabama during the Vietnam war. It tells a complete story with only a few words. I was impressed with the richness of the story despite the short "chapters". This is a story worth reading.
